The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Thursday, February 20, 2025: Finn goes home to tell Steffy

At Bill’s, the AC was broken down. Luna said she’d love to go surfing or to the beach, so Bill reiterated the rules about the ankle bracelet, and Luna expressed her gratitude. She mused that sometimes she questioned if she actually deserved to be behind bars, given what she did to Tom, Hollis, and her cousin’s wife, Steffy.

Luna asked Bill to go for a dip in the pool, but he pointed out that her bracelet was water resistant, not waterproof, and an alarm would go off if it was damaged. He hoped that their talks had been helpful to her. Luna assured him they had been and hoped he was as proud of her as she was of herself. Bill told her he was proud of the work she was doing on herself.

Luna shared that sometimes she stayed awake at night, dreaming of the life she could have with everyone’s forgiveness and a relationship with Finn. Luna admitted she did get stir-crazy but knew if she did anything to jeopardize her situation, it would ruin the chances of the life she wanted one day. Later alone, Luna sat in the living room with Finn’s and Steffy’s photo and cried how sorry she was.

Finn was finishing up a call so he could go home, but Poppy came into his office, looking adamant. Poppy implied that Finn was subconsciously working such long hours because he knew it was the only way to safeguard his marriage.

Poppy and Finn argued again about how she lied that he was Luna’s father and the reasons Poppy kept it a secret. Finn said all he could think about was how he could have changed who Poppy became and what happened next. He didn’t know how his wife was going to take the news that the woman who tried to end her life was her husband’s daughter.

Finn told Poppy to stop trying to change his mind. He told Poppy it was her fault that he was about to bring pain into his wife’s life when all he wanted to do was bring her joy. “First Sheila and now Luna. I keep bringing Steffy pain,” Finn said.

Finn said Steffy could bolt for the door when she finds out the truth and he wouldn’t blame her if she did. He said they could what-if all day but Steffy deserved the truth. Poppy tried to stop him from walking out the door but he brushed by her, determined to go home and tell Steffy.

At the cliff house, Liam and Steffy were reviewing their co-parenting calendar. He mentioned that he had been talking to his dad about how close they came to losing Steffy to Luna. Steffy recalled how Finn saved her from Luna and previously from his mother, Sheila.

Liam shared how his dad was spending more time at home, and Liam was doing more at the office. Steffy asked if he was finding time for himself. He said he was reading and working out and thinking about getting a parrot for the company. Steffy was more than concerned, but Liam told her he was kidding. He insisted he was fine but then admitted he wasn’t. “Life just doesn’t look the way I pictured it would at this point, spending half the time with my kids, and you're with Finn, Hope’s with Carter…it’s my own damn fault, and I know that. My life just kind of stinks,” he shared.

Liam realized how he sounded and tried to perk up, but he noted that it was his birthday the day before, and no one remembered except Wyatt. He said he knew everyone was busy enjoying their lives, and that made him happy, especially for Steffy and Finn.

Liam admitted he was jealous but knew he had several chances and blew all of them. He told Steffy she deserved better than he offered and was happy that she and Finn shared a child. He hoped she and Finn had weathered the worst and deserved to relax and enjoy each other and their family. Steffy got a message from Finn that he was on his way home, so Liam said he would go and give them some alone time.

Steffy asked him to wait a moment and brought a homemade cookie over with a candle in it. She lit it and told him, “Happy Birthday.” Liam blew out the candle and thanked her. He said things work out the way they do for a reason. “You and Finn are meant to be together forever,” he added, then took his cookie and left. Finn came in a bit later and embraced Steffy as he wondered to himself, “How do I tell you that Luna’s my daughter?”
