In the CEO’s office, Katie, Steffy, and Ridge had a meeting. Katie wanted to discuss how they could avoid public misconception of Hope’s firing, but Ridge wanted to give no comment to the press. Steffy acknowledged that Katie’s concern came from being Hope’s aunt. Katie insisted she just wanted to prevent the perception of a workplace conflict as it wasn’t good for the brand. Steffy said there was no more conflict to worry about anymore as Hope and her line were gone.

Electra and Ivy came in and interrupted the meeting. Katie introduced herself, and Ridge announced that Katie would be handling the marketing for the jewelry relaunch. As Will came in with some files for Steffy, he overheard the plans and enthusiastically congratulated Electra. She quickly explained that it wasn’t her but Ivy who would be credited and noted she was just a helper. Everyone noticed that Will and Ivy were already connected.

Ridge and Steffy corrected Electra that she, too, would be highlighted in the press, and they would really lean into the family connection. “It’s a great story. It’s upbeat, it’s inspirational. New Forresters joining the company,” Katie agreed. “As you can see, you have really raised the excitement levels around here,” Will added. Electra insisted that adding her name and photo didn’t add to the campaign. Electra seemed upset when they said that the campaign was ready to launch and she would be in the spotlight, but everyone misunderstood her reaction as nervousness or being camera-shy.

After everyone left, Ridge and Steffy talked about how humble Electra was and noted that she had a great presence. They looked forward to her being in the press but acknowledged her nervousness. Steffy thought putting Ivy and Electra into the spotlight would take the heat off of ending HFTF. Ridge agreed but added they probably hadn’t heard the last of it about Hope’s firing. Steffy asked if Ridge was still going to support her decision.

Steffy told Ridge she understood that it’s a challenging situation for him given his relationship with Brooke but insisted that something needed to be done about her behavior. “I made the call, and you supported me. You’re going to continue to support me, right?” Steffy asked again.

Later, Will took Electra to Il Giardino for lunch. Electra thanked Will and said he was her only friend in L.A. They talked about how she hadn’t seen her family in a long time, and Will noted that they seemed happy to have her around. Will said they should celebrate her big press announcement and noted the whole world would be seeing her. Electra looked uncomfortable at the thought.

Will wanted to get to know Electra and hear more about her. Electra said she grew up much differently than Ivy and the other Forresters. Will asked why Electra seemed reluctant to be part of the Forrester press release.

Elsewhere, someone whose face is unseen was looking at the Forrester press release online and seemed focused on Electra’s photo.

Brooke surprised Taylor at Steffy’s house, although she noted that Taylor should have expected the visit after Hope got fired. “She shouldn’t have fired Hope. What Steffy did was misguided and wrong,” Brooke told Taylor.

“Hope’s behavior was deplorable,” Taylor said. Brooke agreed that what Steffy walked in on must have been shocking but insisted it wasn’t an act of defiance. Brooke added that Hope tried to explain herself to all of them, but no one would listen. “What she said was ludicrous. No, it was insulting, pretending it was some sort of mistake,” Taylor snapped. Brooke said it was a mistake, and she wouldn’t let Steffy’s bias persecute Hope, nor would she let her daughter’s career end that way.

Taylor empathized as a mother with Brooke. “I am also part of Forrester’s executive team, and I have serious concerns about Steffy’s judgment,” Brooke said. Taylor told Brooke to save her concern for Hope. Brooke explained that Hope had simply tried on a piece of lingerie in the office and that she wasn’t throwing herself at Finn. Taylor reminded Brooke that Hope needed to understand boundaries.

Brooke countered that Steffy was the one crossing boundaries by settling personal issues in the office. Taylor told Brooke that Steffy’s behavior was fine; it was Hope who had been acting inappropriately, especially where Finn was concerned. Brooke said that Hope wasn’t interested in Finn “anymore,” so Taylor reminded her that Hope should never have been going after him.

Brooke said that she didn’t come over to talk about Hope’s firing; she actually came over to see how Taylor was doing. “Recovering from the broken heart syndrome,” Brooke added. Taylor was surprised she was concerned. “Seems like you’re good,” Brooke noted. Taylor agreed she was feeling happier and healthier every day.

Taylor noted she was grateful to Ridge for helping her navigate her illness and said she didn’t know what she would have done without him. Brooke said she was very aware of how much Ridge helped Taylor; she saw it with her own eyes. Brooke asked if Taylor was still seeing the healer with Ridge and recalled seeing them in the Yab-yum position. Taylor said she knew it was upsetting for Brooke but described in detail how healing it truly was to be in that position with Ridge.

Brooke wanted Taylor to explain how Ridge and Taylor were “following their hearts” during the healing session with Shandra. Taylor tried to describe how it worked and the emotional effect it had on her. “I used to pride myself on being rational, but now I have a greater appreciation for listening to my heart,” Taylor summarized.

“So you’re starting to see things my way,” Brooke said. Taylor said she wouldn’t go that far, but had thought she was dying. Taylor credited Ridge for making her even get a second opinion, hiring Shandra, and being there for Taylor every step of the way. Brooke asked what it meant when Taylor said that Ridge gave her the courage to connect with her heart. “You know what I’m asking. Are you in love with him? Do you still want Ridge?” Brooke asked.
