At Bill's house, Luna demanded to know from her mother, Poppy, how long she knew Finn was her father. Did she go to the musical festival to be with Tom and Bill so she’d have more candidates in her mind as to who could be the dad? Luna says that Poppy was scared to face Finn and Aunt Li so she ran away. She knew all along that Finn was her unborn child’s father.

Poppy turned the tables on her murderous daughter by pointing out that she should still be behind bars and not a free woman who has just been pardoned. She threw out a theory that Luna was cozying up to Bill the way she had tried to before going to prison. Luna shot that down but admitted there was a Spencer she’d like to be with – Will. The two women stopped hurling attacks long enough for Luna to ask her mom a question: “Do you think that you and I could have a fresh start?”

Poppy asked Luna if she wanted to live a good and decent life. Luna maintained that her actions (killing people) were not who she really was. She also truly wanted Will, who she described as “the total package.”

What do you say, Poppy? “Never,” Poppy replied, looking her daughter right in the eye. “That will never happen. The souls of Tom and Hollis will haunt you forever. And you have brought unimaginable shame to the family, taking the lives of two innocent men, framing me for your crimes…You are a double murderer! And you are not my daughter! You are evil! Evil!” Poppy spat before physically going after her daughter.

“Don’t you touch me,” the Luna fired back.

Poppy didn’t back down, shouting back, “Enough! Enough! I have had it up to here with your sob story. Your screwed-up childhood! Blah, blah, blah! It wasn’t even bad! And I am sick of you using that as an excuse to try and justify taking the lives of two innocent men! Kidnapping the woman that you now know is your father’s wife. Steffy hates you! Finn won’t have anything to do with you. I don’t want to have anything to do with you! Do you know how much that kills me to say that to my one and only daughter?”

Poppy continued, ordering Luna to get out of town, saying there was no one on earth who would accept her. “Maybe there is, Mom. Maybe there is,” Luna cooly replied. She clearly had something and someone in mind.

At Il Giardino’s, Sheila lamented to Deacon that she doesn’t get to see Hayes enough. She proudly showed her husband a photo of her grandson on her phone. She missed the little guy. Later, after Deacon had left, Luna made a beeline to Il Giardino’s to see Sheila. “What are you doing here?” Sheila demanded to know, calling Luna a crazed killer. Poppy explained that she’d been pardoned. “What do I look like to you?” Sheila asked, the irony of her own situation probably lost on her.

Luna said she hoped that there was one person who could understand and accept her. Sheila asked rhetorically who could that be. “You, Sheila,” Luna simply said. “You.” Sheila looked at Luna with confusion.

Ridge and Eric were happy that Carter was their friend again. Ridge conceded that Carter thought what he was doing was right and that it was Hope who led him astray. Eric believed that Hope would be pretty upset when she found out that Carter signed control of Forrester Creations back over to the Forresters. Ridge and Carter hugged it out. They were besties once again.

At Hope’s cabin, she told Brooke that she wasn’t going to let one kiss derail her romance with Carter. Brooke was stymied as to what could have caused Daphne to have made a move on Carter. Oblivious to what Carter was doing, Hope was curious as to why Daphne felt she could be so “bold.”

Hope remained firm in believing that Carter would be faithful to her. Brooke gently pointed out to Hope that Forrester Creations isn’t the same without Eric and Ridge – Brooke should know; when she took the company over, she didn’t fire either man.

At the Forrester mansion, Daphne and Steffy continued to bond over their dislike of Hope. The perfume expert told Taylor that she was staying in Los Angeles. Taylor asked Daphne what changed her mind. “Hope did,” Daphne simply replied. “The moment she demanded I leave Los Angeles and never come near Carter again.”

Ridge and Carter showed up with good news. Forrester Creations was in their hands once again. Ridge and Eric showed Steffy the torn contract. Steffy was over the moon with joy. Eric said the company that he and Stephanie founded all those years ago was now back in the family’s hands.

Meanwhile, an oblivious Hope was lighting candles for Carter in the cabin, hoping to create a romantic mood. Hope said she wanted to do something nice for him. She told Carter she still believed in him and in them as a couple. Hope embraced her partner in work and in life. Carter had a look on his face as if to say, “How am I going to tell Hope I gave the company back to the Forresters?”

Hope told Carter she believed they could make it through anything. She questioned why he was so quiet, asking if something happened at the office. “I always want to be honest with you,” Carter gently said. He let her know that Ridge and Eric had come by the office and that they wanted control of the company again. Hope leaned into the fact that Forrester was successful because of Carter. Then, he flashed back to tearing up the contract. Sensing something was wrong, Hope asked if they still controlled Forrester Creations. “Tell me I’m right, Carter?” Hope asked, growing more alarmed by the minute.
