At the cliff house, Steffy asked Finn to tell her what was going on with him, but he kept wondering how he could possibly tell her that Luna was his daughter. Steffy reminded him they had all night and to take his time, but Finn told her that it wasn’t the right time. He said he wanted to share it, and there would be no secrets, but it was complicated, and he was still processing it himself. “I’m here, I’ll listen. Whatever it is, we’ll handle it,” Steffy soothed.
Finn didn’t want a heavy conversation on their anniversary, but Steffy could tell something was really weighing on him. She insisted there was nothing they couldn’t overcome. Steffy said there was something he said she should know, and she didn’t understand why he wouldn’t tell her what it was.
Finn told Steffy how much she meant to him. No matter how busy they were with life or work, nothing meant more to him than her and the kids. He said that he always considered how anything he did would affect her and them. He asked her to promise that she would never forget that. Steffy promised and said he was her world, too, but as they hugged, she looked very concerned.
Steffy reminded Finn that their love was always stronger than anything they had ever been through. She reminded Finn how he saved her twice, first with Sheila and then with his crazy cousin, Luna. Finn sighed heavily. He said that he never wanted her to go through something bad again, but Steffy said nothing could be worse than what they’d already faced. “We’re good now,” she said. “You’re everything to me. You’re my entire world, honey,” Finn told Steffy. She suggested they go to the bedroom to celebrate their anniversary. Finn agreed but took a moment in the living room before following her. He pulled up a picture of him and Luna on his phone to stare at first. “Tomorrow, sweetheart, I’ll tell you I’m Luna’s father tomorrow,” he whispered.

At the Spencer mansion, Liam recalled everything Finn and Steffy went through with Luna, unaware that Luna was spying on him and his dad in the living room. Liam recounted how he and Kelly almost lost Steffy because of Luna. “It’s no secret I have my issues with Finn, but he did come through for Steffy when it mattered,” Liam noted. He then recalled how he had given Finn a hard time when they thought Steffy had left town, unaware that Luna had her drugged and locked in a cage. Bill noted that we often judge people without knowing who they really are. Liam thought that was an oddly enlightened view for Bill.
Liam continued that Finn was right about Steffy being in danger and that she was with his “psychopath cousin, Luna.” Bill reminded Liam that Luna was paying for her crimes but Liam shot back that Luna wasn’t paying for what she did to Bill. Bill shut down that conversation and claimed that he had moved on. He noted that Luna wasn’t a danger to anyone anymore. “Yeah, but only because she’s in prison, where she belongs,” Liam insisted.
Bill started to ask Liam to leave, claiming he had stuff to do. “What are you so busy with?” Liam scoffed. Bill told his son that he appreciated him, and Liam felt the same but said that Bill had been hard to reach lately. Before leaving, Liam told his dad that he wanted him to be happy, just not with “a woman who had another psychopath daughter, who also happened to be Finn’s cousin.”
After Liam left, Luna came back in from outside, and Bill knew she was upset about what she had heard. Luna agreed with everything Liam said about her and noted it made her sick to hear it. She pointed out that Finn and Steffy had been so good to her, but she had been so focused on her fantasy of having a perfect father that she turned on her own family. “How could I do that? Especially to Finn, who I love and respect so much?” she cried.
At the Forrester mansion, Brooke reminded Ridge that she felt betrayed when he turned to Taylor. She told him nothing was more important than them, especially not a job. She insisted she took the CEO position for him, and one day, he would realize that. However, she said they couldn’t work through it all unless they were together. “We need to focus on us, our future, and our destiny,” Brooke told Ridge.
“I know it’ll be difficult coming back from this, but it’s not like we haven’t done it before,” Brooke told Ridge. He asked, “You don’t think showing up here is making it worse?” Brooke said that walking away when there was a shred of hope was worse. Brooke reminded Ridge of their promises to never give up on one another and insisted she hadn’t given up on him or them, no matter who she worked for. “I’m here asking you to come home,” Brooke pleaded. Just then, Taylor came into the room. “I wish I could say this is a surprise,” she said dryly.
Brooke told Taylor there had been a misunderstanding between her and Ridge. Taylor told her that there was no misunderstanding about her betrayal. Brooke explained that she had taken the job to convince Carter that what he had done was wrong. “What about his relationship with Hope? Are you having those conversations, too?” Taylor asked. Brooke agreed that the coup wasn’t right or Hope’s influence. Brooke looked at Ridge and said that she didn’t come to argue with Taylor, she didn’t even know she’d be there. “I came for you and to talk to you, Ridge. I am your Logan, and that will never change. And there’s no mistake that we can’t overcome,” she added.
Ridge suggested that Brooke should leave so she did. Once alone, Taylor asked him if that was hard to hear. “Brooke’s tears can be pretty effective,” Taylor added. Ridge admitted he had hoped Brooke would say something that sounded more remorseful. Taylor pointed out that going too far and then crying she made a mistake was what Brooke has always done. She added that Ridge never needed Brooke to argue his case, he needed her to be his partner, and she wasn’t. “She did the right thing when she first heard Hope’s plan, but then she became a part of it. And it’s shocking she can’t see how much she betrayed you,” Taylor surmised.
Ridge and Taylor sat down as she told him that there was a time that walking in on that conversation would have made her insecure, but she was a different person now. Ridge said that she had always been strong,g and she had never seemed more like herself. He knew he could rely on her, and Taylor said she felt the same. “I believe in your love for me and our future together,” Taylor told Ridge before they kissed. But as they hugged, Ridge looked pensive.
Brooke returned to the CEO’s office and looked at the press release from when she took Ridge’s job. She recalled her conversation with Ridge at his house, when she reminded him about their connection and unbreakable bond. Looking around the empty office, she had a flashback to being in Italy, when he told her he knew he didn’t want to spend another day apart. “I’m not giving up, Ridge. I’m never giving up on us,” Brooke said to herself.
