Steffy, Ridge, and Eric celebrated being back in the office now that they’re back in charge at Forrester Creations. Now, they have to decide what to do with Carter and Hope. Ridge and Eric pushed back on Steffy about Hope For The Future continuing.

Carter said to Hope he hated disappointing her but he couldn’t go on. Hope said that Carter steered the company in a better direction. Brooke gently said that Hope and Carter went about their ways in an underhanded way. “It’s not wrong to feel remorse, Carter,” Brooke said. Carter noted that Ridge and Eric agreed to keep Hope on board. Hope felt that there was no way Steffy would agree to keep her on.

“We have no idea what to expect when we walk into that meeting,” Hope said. She feared they could all be out of their jobs. Hope said that Steffy would want her revenge. Carter is confident that they wouldn't be fired. “They can’t,” Brooke said. “They won’t. I have faith in Ridge. Time to find out.” Hope remained unsure.

Daphne told Zende there was a big difference when she walked into the building. Zende agreed. The Forresters were back. Daphne said that the meeting that Hope, Steffy, and others are having will be the last Hope would attend. Daphne said that Carter didn't regret tearing up the LLC papers, but he may regret betraying the Forresters in the first place. Daphne suggested that Carter will keep his job.

Zende theorized that Brooke would be safe as she only allied herself with Carter to get the company back for the Forresters. Daphne was skeptical. “Tell me you don’t own a piece of Brooke’s Bedroom,” Zende asked. “Maybe a dozen,” Daphne admitted.

Zende asked if Daphne wanted Hope and/or her line cut for personal reasons. He knew how close she'd gotten to Carter. Daphne said Carter had found his moral center again.

Carter, Brooke, and Hope walked into Eric’s office. “The three of you committed treason and now, the three of us will decide what will happen next,” Steffy stated.

Steffy told Carter he was lucky to remain as COO and counsel. She said she was giving him a generous offer so he should choose his words carefully. Steffy added that Carter would be losing his interim CEO title immediately. “I realize that you have made significant contributions here at Forrester, so I agreed that you should stay on,” Steffy said.

“And my fate?” Hope asked. She wanted to know if Eric and Ridge were keeping their word.

Steffy said that she wasn’t present when Ridge and Eric told Carter that Hope For The Future would survive. Brooke said that Eric and Ridge are men of their word. Steffy sniped that she was sure that Eric and Ridge meant what they said – at the time. But Steffy said she was co-CEO. She said that Steffy was talked into keeping Brooke on. Steffy said Hope For The Future was built on integrity, but that Hope did the complete opposite when she and Carter tried to take the company over. Steffy said the message of Hope For The Future wasn't pure or relevant. “We’re shelving your line,” Steffy said.

“No!” Brooke exclaimed. “We had a deal,” Carter objected. Steffy said that Forrester Creations began and ended with her father and grandfather. They weren’t going to focus on a line that’s over. The new focus is couture – “a line that’s a shell of itself anyway. That’s because of you Hope,” Steffy said.

Hope reminded Steffy that everyone was given a chance to stay. Steffy pointed out that Deacon – not Eric or Ridge – was Hope's father. She continued to give Hope a dressing drown. Hope points out that her and Carter’s efforts have been profitable. “It’s about honor and respect,” Steffy said. She said Hope was like a vacant vessel who liked to hear herself talk. Brooke jumped in to defend her daughter. Carter said Steffy couldn’t speak about Hope For The Future. “A line about faith and morals? You bet I can,” Steffy shot back.

Hope said Steffy was a bully – just like her namesake. Eric jumped in to defend his late wife (Stephanie, Steffy’s namesake). Carter said Ridge and Eric gave their word. Steffy argued that Carter stole the company. “I’m a daughter, a granddaughter, standing up for what’s right,” Steffy said. “You’re the root cause of this coup. Your credibility is destroyed. Your line is suspended. You’re no longer needed at Forrester.”

Hope asked Carter to go with her. She said she and Carter were a team. Steffy said if Carter walked out that door… Ridge said Carter was forgiven once but urged him not to side with Hope again.
