The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Friday, January 24, 2025: Who's her daddy? 

In the design office, Hope gushed to Steffy about Daphne Rose and how beautiful, mysterious, and provocative. Hope couldn’t believe their luck that she just showed up the way she did and hoped Carter was sealing the deal in the CEO’s office.

Hope thought Daphne would be a huge asset to Forrester if Carter could sign her. She thought Daphne was hard to read and might have her own agenda. Steffy surprised Hope by admitting landing Daphne Rose would be huge. She told Hope that the more she thought about it, the more she was reconsidering her opinion about Carter’s expansion idea. “Having Daphne Rose at Forrester could be a game changer,” Steffy said.

Steffy told Hope it would be a shame if Carter couldn’t close the deal, especially at this stage of things. Hope insisted that Daphne was interested. Steffy noted that if Daphne signed, she and Carter would be spending long hours together, but in the end, it would be worth it. Hope wondered if she really meant it. “If it gets the results I’m hoping it will, I’m totally on board,” Steffy said genuinely.

In the CEO’s office, Carter told Daphne her fragrance was incredible. She asked if that was what he wanted, and he said absolutely. “Then that is what you’ll get,” Daphne cooed as she moved close to him. Carter noted she wasn’t short on self-confidence.

Carter told Daphne that he prepared the contract himself. “I hope you’ll be very satisfied,” Carter said. “Satisfied…indeed,” Daphne purred. As Daphne reviewed the contract, Carter offered to tweak some terms if needed, but Daphne signed it as-is. Carter was thrilled.

He said he just needed to sign, and they were good to go. Daphne stood up to let him sign next but brushed by him as she did, giving him pause. Carter welcomed Daphne on board. “I look forward to being around you, and…your intoxicating…,” Carter stumbled as they stared at one another. “Persona?” Daphne finished. Carter blushed and said yes, that, too. Daphne stood up and moved closer to him. As they gazed at one another, she said softly, “Pareil,” to indicate she felt the same way.

After Daphne left, Hope rushed into the CEO’s office and asked how it went. She was amazed that Carter made the deal happen. Hope told Carter it was like he could make anything happen. “Forrester Cr3eations will never be the same again. I’m so proud of you,” Hope told him.

Across the hall, Steffy locked the door so she and Daphne could talk. Steffy laughed that Hope and Carter were probably celebrating about how "fate" brought Daphne to them. “Little do they know, together, you and I are going to rip the company out of their greedy little paws,” she said.

At Bill’s mansion, Luna fretted that she didn’t have any physical similarities to Tom Starr and wondered if he really was her father. She said she just couldn’t accept him as her father. Luna wondered if Poppy assumed her father was Tom and there was someone else out there instead.

Luna knew Bill didn’t want her to get sucked back into her past, but it was why she did what she did. Luna noted that Bill’s father was a tyrant, and he wasn’t over his past, either. Bill said he wanted to be nothing like his father but thought Tom was a good man. Bill thought Luna wondering if Tom wasn’t her father was just wishful thinking. Luna insisted it was worth considering as it would change everything for her and for another man if he was her father.

Luna carried on about not having anything in common with Tom and how nothing about him felt like a connection. Luna thought if her and Tom’s paths never crossed and he hadn’t insisted on getting to know her, he’d still be alive. Bill believed she could turn her life around. “I believe in you,” Bill added. Luna cried that she wished Bill was her dad but more and more, she could feel it in her bones that Tom was not her dad.

Luna admitted she knew it didn’t make any sense and she had nothing to go off of, but she wished Poppy would tell her the truth.

In Li’s office, she told Poppy and Jack that she had suspicions for years about them having an affair. She wouldn’t listen to their denials and accused them of producing a love child. Li said she wanted the truth. Jack told Li that she orchestrated the entire paternity ambush to fit her assumption that he and Poppy had an affair. Jack and Poppy once again denied ever having an affair. “The results will prove otherwise,” Li seethed. Jack told her to show the proof then.

Li held the test in her hand and was stunned when she looked and saw it was negative. Jack said, of course, it was; he and Poppy were never together. He lectured her that she always thought the worst, not just of him but of her own sister.

Poppy asked Li how she could accuse her of such a thing. They reiterated that they would never have an affair, and Li finally said she believed them. Li apologized for putting them through what she did, the accusations, and jabbing Jack with the needle to force a test. Li said she had been a horrible sister to Poppy and mistreated both of them. Li sobbed how sorry she was.

Li explained that she was unfair to both of them because of her assumptions and accusations. She lamented that if she had let go of her bitterness and been a better sister, Luna may have never killed two men. “I let my anger consume me. I turned into someone I never wanted to become. Suspicious, judgmental,” she cried. Li said that she told herself that since Poppy was involved with drugs and a free-love lifestyle, it wouldn’t be a stretch that she would betray her with her own husband.

Li admitted she had been mean to Poppy for years, and she had been terribly wrong. “You’re family, I should have been there for you,” Li cried. Li swore it changed today and would spend the rest of her life making it up to her. She asked for Poppy’s forgiveness and apologized again. The sisters embraced as Jack and Poppy cried with her in relief.

Steffy tells her parents she is looking forward to her anniversary with her husband.

Li tells Finn they are still left with the mystery of who is Luna’s father.

“We understand each other. I think I can help,” Luna says to Bill.

“You need to be honest with me,” Finn says seriously. “Why are you asking these questions?” Poppy asks. “You know why, Poppy,” Finn tells her.
