Poppy went to Li’s office and admitted she wasn’t in a good place emotionally. “I think I know why. Because of Luna,” Li guessed. Li wanted Poppy to trust her again and talk to her about her life. They agreed they felt like they were on the right path again. Li thought Poppy was struggling with everything and wanted to be there for her. Li said if she had been a better sister and aunt, Luna might not be in prison. “Lives wouldn’t have been lost, and Finn wouldn’t despise his cousin,” Li grimaced.

Li told Poppy she had no right thinking that Poppy would have an affair under her roof and betray her in such an ugly way. She told Poppy she was a good sister and she’d wasted so many years resenting her. Li asked Poppy for her forgiveness.,

At Il Giardino, Sheila was at the bar when Remy walked in. He asked for his job back, but Sheila told him that she knew what he did. Remy called it a momentary lapse in judgment, and he had served his time. Sheila admitted she had her moments, too, but was reformed. “Does that mean you’ll give me another chance?” Remy asked hopefully. Sheila said she would but didn’t think Deacon would.

Sheila explained that Electra’s boyfriend was Hope’s cousin, and Deacon wouldn’t be forgiving. As Remy was pleading that he couldn’t go back to Texas, Bill walked in, and Sheila told him that Bill always killed the moment, so happy hour was over.

Sheila and Bill threw jabs until Bill noted his AC was out. Remy suggested it could just be the filters, and he’d be willing to help by taking a look. Bill asked if he was an AC guy. “I’m from Texas. It’s hot there. We’re all AC guys,” Remy explained. Sheila suggested Bill give him a try, but told Bill that Remy’s name was Dario.

“Normally, Sheila vouching for you would get you automatically crossed off the list, but I do need the help,” Bill said. He took a call and said he’d think about it. While Bill stepped away, Sheila told Remy that Bill would know his name from Will. She explained that Bill Spencer was one of the wealthiest men in L.A., and he could be the opportunity Remy was looking for.

Sheila told Remy that she saw a little bit of herself in him and had a past. “What are you a mass murderer or something?” Remy asked. Bill returned and hired Remy, or “Dario,” to fix his AC, and he left with him.

At the cliff house, Steffy was glad that Finn was finally home after all of his double shifts. She asked what it was that he wanted to tell her. Finn told her it was life-changing news that he needed to share. Steffy knew it was weighing on Finn and asked if it was about a patient. “It’s personal. About a woman from my past,” Finn admitted.

Finn told her that something had happened long before he met Steffy, and he’d put it out of his head. He explained it was something no one knew about and he pretended it didn’t happen and didn’t matter. However, he said it was an issue now that they needed to deal with. Steffy noted he’d said it was a woman from many years ago and assumed she didn’t know her, but Finn said she did, and she had even been to their house.

Finn explained the woman was still in his life but not in that way. Finn explained he had slept with the person when he was 18 and she was older. Steffy couldn’t think of who that could be, so Finn told her it was Poppy.

“Poppy? Your aunt?” Steffy asked, appalled. Steffy said Poppy knew what she was doing. Finn said he was 18, thought he was a man, and wanted to act like one. Steffy told him she was sorry he went through that and carried it with him all these years. “I get it she wasn’t your biological aunt, but my god, you were adopted into their family,” Steffy said.

“What she did to you is so unforgivable. I am so sorry. I’m sorry you had to go through something like that,” Steffy said as she hugged Finn. Steffy told Finn he didn’t have to explain the situation if he didn’t want to as she could figure out how it went down. She summarized what she suspected and then said that Poppy was sick, even if she was on drugs. “No wonder Luna turned out the way she did,” Steffy noted.

She talked about what Luna did and recalled how Luna tried to kill her and said the sickness was in Luna’s veins. Finn seemed more upset, so she paused and said as much as it hurt, there were no lasting repercussions. “We’re going to get through this,” Steffy assured him. “What Poppy did to you in the past doesn’t change anything about us; we’re going to get through this,” Steffy said as she hugged him. Finn pulled back and said there was more to the story. “There’s something that I have to tell you, and it’s something you’re not going to want to hear,” Finn added.

When Bill came home, he ushered Luna to hide as someone was coming in to fix the AC. Bill handed “Dario” $500 even though he hadn’t fixed anything yet. “I’m also buying your discretion. Get the job done and go. Don’t get ADD on me; do not get distracted. Just do the job and leave by the service gate,” Bill ordered. He told him he’d be on business calls and didn’t want to be interrupted. He just wanted it fixed. “Dario” promised to get the job done.

Bill left the room, and Remy took a look around in awe. Luna walked in and said she couldn’t help but overhear. Remy told her he was there to fix the AC. He asked if he knew Luna, but she said she didn’t think so. Remy admitted he had a friend who worked at Forrester Creations and read up on the place and knew about an intern who had committed double homicide. He asked if Luna was that person.
