The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Friday, December 13, 2024: Ridge leaves Brooke, and Remy shows his true colors

At Brooke’s, Ridge told her that something was wrong with Hope and listed her pattern of behavior all year. Brooke was frustrated and didn’t want to hear it. Ridge told her that once everything was back to normal, Hope wouldn’t walk through the doors of Forrester again.

Brooke told Ridge to stop villainizing her daughter and to look at why they felt the need to take the reins. “I had a pretty bad day. Awful day. And you have the audacity to defend Carter and Hope,” Ridge told her. Brooke looked at him defiantly.

Ridge asked if Brooke didn’t understand what happened. She agreed that what Carter and Hope did was unethical, but their words were rooted in truth. “The Logans have been treated like peasants for decades,” Brooke told him. She reminded him about the BeLieF formula and other contributions. “We never got the professional respect that we deserve,” Brooke cried. Ridge reminded her that they just came from Monte Carlo to promote her, so she said it’s not that she wasn’t grateful. Ridge reiterated that Carter and Hope stole the company. “And your siding with them,” Ridge told her.

Brooke yelled at Ridge that he couldn’t keep blaming her daughter. “But it is your daughter. She did this. She attacked my family, she stole my company, it’s not going to go unpunished. You know that,” Ridge told her. Brooke asked if she should ground her or send her to her room. Ridge said simply that he wanted Hope gone. “I’m not going to live on this property with Hope. It’s not going to happen,” he told Brooke.

Ridge told Brooke that Hope uses people to get what she wants, and she stole from him. Brooke covered her ears and asked him to stop saying it. Brooke didn’t think it was fair to say it and that it wasn’t true. Ridge asked if Hope was a worthless slut. “Like her mother? Like me? Is that what you’re implying?” Brooke seethed. She noted that his mother saw her like that and said he now sees Hope like that. Brooke couldn’t believe he had degraded her daughter to that word.

Brooke didn’t understand how he could call Hope a bitch and a slut, and she didn’t know who he was. “Who are you?” Ridge asked, “You’re defending someone who broke me. You should be defending me. I’m not staying here with Hope.” Brooke said she wasn’t going to kick Hope out of her house. “Then I’ll go. I don’t want to fight with you anymore. I love you too much,” he said as he took his keys and left. Brooke sobbed, aghast.

In the CEO’s office, Carter and Hope congratulated each other on their accomplishments. Hope sat on Carter's lap in the CEO’s desk chair and said they should frame and hang the paperwork on the wall. Hope and Carter made out in the chair.

Electra and Will came into the office and asked Carter about his takeover. Will was excited for his cousin and getting her line back, but Electra asked about Ridge and Steffy. Carter said they were still welcome to be part of the company if they wanted to be. Hope assured Electra that she and Ivy weren’t affected and the jewelry line was a big part of Carter’s plans for the future. Electra said it felt weird, being a Forrester, and noted that Steffy was always so kind to her. Hope took a deep breath and smiled.

Once alone, Hope assured Carter he did the right thing. He cautiously thought the staff was taking it pretty well and wasn’t second-guessing himself. Hope told him again how amazing he was and how much better the company was with him in control and told him he deserved it.

Hope reminded Carter that the office was all his now and he could do whatever he wanted in it. She suggested that he should get some big throw pillows as she locked the door and looked at him suggestively

In the salon, Electra wondered if the company was still called Forrester. She hoped Remy was okay and worried that she had offended him. Will assured her that she was just trying to do her work. He wanted to hang out, and it wasn’t wrong of her to tell him it was inappropriate.

In Remy’s apartment, he took a picture of Electra and used AI to remove her clothes. As it transformed, he had flashbacks of Electra telling him that she didn’t want distractions at work and Will telling him to go back to work.

Remy had flashbacks to when they were back home, and Electra had discovered someone had altered her photos and humiliated her at school. She had cried on his shoulder about it, and he had promised her she need not worry as he would never leave her. Looking at his computer and remembering, Remy started to cry that L.A. had changed her. “I’m not going to let that happen,” Remy said as he continued to use AI on her photos.

“Sorry I’m doing this again. I can’t lose you to Will,” Remy said as he kept removing the clothes from Electra’s digital photos.

At Steffy’s, Taylor was shocked when she found out that Carter had taken control of Forrester. Steffy told her that Justin was a top-notch attorney who told them there was nothing they could do. She said Carter found a loophole, cheated his way to the top, and that Hope had lured him there.

Steffy couldn’t believe that Hope got into Carter’s head and got him to turn on them. Taylor couldn’t believe they went ahead and filed the paperwork. Steffy said Hope was a snake who would drain Carter’s dignity and then toss him aside. Steffy said they would fight back but felt powerless.

Ridge went to Steffy’s and they shared their shock at their day. He confided that Brooke was defending Hope to death and that they had a huge argument. “I told her it’s Hope or me. For some reason, Brooke doesn’t think Hope can have her own apartment, so I walked out,” Ridge told Steffy. “You left Brooke?” Taylor asked. Steffy told him that she was really sorry and knew he was hurting. “But who causes the pain? It’s the Logans. Hope doesn’t care about anyone but herself, and Brooke’s enabling that,” Steffy said. She noted it was a losing battle over there and invited him to stay with them instead. “We truly love you and care about you,” Steffy said as she and Taylor hugged him.

Back at Brooke’s, she sobbed uncontrollably.

At Il Giardino, Remy asks Will, “You really think I would mess things up for Electra?” Will responds, “If you do, you’re going to answer to me.”

In the CEO’s office, Electra is upset and asks, “I’m being fired? Why?” Katie and Brooke look at one another.

On a video call with Eric, Taylor, Ridge, and Steffy, Brooke announces that she is going to step into her old position as CEO of Forrester.

In an embrace at night, Ridge tells Taylor she was right all along. “I need to talk to you. Ridge?” Brooke calls from outside the door.
