Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, where Liam told Steffy his sordid tale and Sheila bonded with her granddaughter.
What happened on the Bold and the Beautiful

Sheila and Luna sat in Sheila's apartment, talking and bonding. Luna was so happy she could now count on family, while Sheila was thrilled to be someone's grandmother. "People aren't usually grateful to be related to me," Sheila remarked. Luna couldn't believe that. Sheila had been so good to her since Bill kicked her out.
Luna mentioned Will but then told Sheila she was thinking about another man: her dad. Luna marveled at her "instant intense connection" with Finn. Sheila promised her that she would one day feel it again. Luna was just grateful to finally know who she really was. "Family is everything. It is the greatest gift," Sheila said.
However, Sheila worried that Steffy would try to interfere with Luna and Finn's relationship. Sheila promised Luna that she wouldn't let that happen; Steffy would not come between a father and his daughter.
Steffy begged Liam to tell her anything he could possibly remember about what led to his head injury. Liam thought about it but remained confused. However, Steffy's question brought it all back. "Did you get in an argument with your dad?" she asked.
That prompted Liam to remember the fight that had broken out in Bill's living room. Liam told Steffy that he quit his job over a fight about Luna. Steffy felt bad for Liam. "You love your dad. You love working with him," she said. Liam also remembered Bill telling him to get out, which was the moment that led to his dizzy spell and fall.
"My dad," Liam uttered, frightening Steffy. "Bill did this to you?" she asked, with a horrified look on her face. Liam told Steffy how he had argued with Bill, but things got heated. Steffy was furious with Bill. "He gets a convicted killer out of prison, now he’s going off on you? What’s going on? I can’t believe Bill would do something like this," Steffy marveled.
Once she calmed down, Steffy wanted to call Liam's family, but Liam asked her not to. However, Steffy wanted to tell Finn, especially since he was a doctor and would find out anyway.
Steffy called Finn, who was relieved to finally hear from his MIA wife after she missed a playdate with Kelly. Steffy asked him to come down to the neurology ICU. She then assured Liam that they were still family. He then squeezed Steffy's hand and thanked her for saving his life.
Finn was surprised to see Bill walk by his office, so he invited him in. Bill said he was there to visit an old business associate. Bill immediately knew that Finn wanted to talk about his long-lost daughter, Luna.
"You got Luna out of prison knowing that she killed two people and attacked my wife," Finn accused. Bill was in no mood to keep defending his actions, so all he could say was, "You're welcome." That just angered Finn more. "You think what you did was a good thing?" Finn marveled.
Bill was sick of all of this. "You and my son. You're both supposed to be a couple of bleeding heart do-gooders. I already got an earful from my son, and I am losing patience today," Bill said. Finn was surprised that Bill didn't seem to think Luna was dangerous.
In the Forrester Creations design office, Deacon continued shouting at Carter for "betraying my daughter." Daphne did her best to smooth the situation over, but her constant digs at Hope didn't help. "You're not defending a victim. Your misguided daughter was wrong," Daphne said.
Carter threatened to call security if Deacon didn't leave. All Deacon could do was mock the time Steffy had Charlie escort Hope from the building. "You know, Carter, it occurs to me if you really did love Hope, you wouldn't be working here either," Deacon said before warning Carter never to step foot in his outdoor restaurant again. All Daphne could manage was, "What an unpleasant man."
Once Deacon was gone, Daphne tended to Carter's bloody eyebrow. Daphne admitted she never thought much of American men, but that she didn't know any European men who would have given the company back to the Forresters the way Carter did. That impressed her. "You've shown so much integrity and grace. I've never met someone like you, Carter Walton," she said.
Carter told Daphne he appreciated her support and friendship, but she wanted to be more than friends. "Hope isn't your future. Your future is right in front of you," Daphne cooed before moving in for what we thought would be a kiss. However, she just lingered as close to Carter's face as possible and did nothing else.
