Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, April 18, 2025, when Liam made Kelly a happy little girl and Steffy received devastating news.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
As they cuddled on the couch, Finn couldn't stop singing Steffy's praises. He was amazed that she was able to be there for Liam, but as Steffy pointed out, nobody else knew what happened, so she had to be there. Steffy was concerned by Kelly's questions and assumed Beth was questioning Hope about where her daddy was.
As Grace examined him, Liam insisted that he felt perfectly fine. He wanted to be discharged ASAP to make sure he could make Kelly's daddy-daughter dance. Bridget understood Liam's frustration, but insisted that they needed to wait for more test results.
A frantic Liam continued to argue, telling the doctors that his daughter came first. "I am going. That's happening. I am leaving here and I am picking up Kelly, and you're not stopping me," Liam insisted before removing all the wires and tubes he was hooked up to.
Bridget and Grace tried to physically hold Liam down as he tried to get out of bed. They weren't successful. Liam got up and walked out of the room.
Back at the cliff house, Kelly emerged from her bedroom in her gorgeous little dress and asked if Daddy was there yet. Finn left for the hospital, so Steffy had the sad task of telling Kelly her dad might not make it to the dance.
At the hospital, Grace and Bridget rushed to Finn's office to tell him that they had a problem. Liam got up out of bed and left so he could go to the dance with Kelly. "Liam is lucky to be alive. He shouldn't be pushing his luck," Finn said. Bridget then had to break some more shocking news. Liam had an inoperable and terminal brain tumor.
Finn was stunned as Bridget broke down in tears. "Liam's a wonderful man and very devoted father. Just to think he is going to miss out on all these special moments in life. Something like this can take all of that away from him, from Kelly and Beth. It's beyond cruel," she cried. Finn was also devastated to think about Kelly and Beth losing their dad.
At home, poor Kelly stood at the door, hoping beyond hope that her daddy would get there. She finally gave up, saying the dance was almost over, so she should just change. She wasn't mad at Liam, just sad. Just then, Liam burst through the door, thrilling Kelly and touching Steffy's heart.
"I would never forget the daddy-daughter dance. I promise," Liam said. He gave Kelly a tiara fit for a "fierce princess" and told Kelly how magical she looked. Liam was ready to leave, but Kelly sadly told him that the dance was over. Liam felt awful, but decided to give Kelly her dance right in the living room with Steffy.
Steffy could tell Liam still didn't feel up to it, but he insisted he was going to give Kelly a wonderful night. He even ignored multiple texts from Finn as Steffy put on the music. Liam and Kelly danced the night away. As Steffy snapped pics, Finn texted her with the news about Liam. Steffy looked on, choking back tears, when Liam pulled Kelly into an embrace.
Ridge set a dark and romantic scene for him and Taylor in Eric's living room as Eric and Donna were off playing pickleball. They hoped for no interruptions, but welcomed texts from Steffy of pics of Kelly in her dress. "No little girl loves her father like Kelly loves Liam," Taylor gushed.
All they could do was go on and on about how special a daddy-daughter dance was, while praising Liam and Steffy as perfect co-parents. "They never let any of their issues affect what's best for the little girl. Beth and Kelly are very lucky to have such a dad. There's nothing that Liam wouldn't do for his two daughters," Taylor said.

Taylor was mockingly horrified when she learned that Ridge had taught Kelly his best dance moves. Ridge then showed Taylor his couch moves as they sipped tea and made out. Later, Ridge reminisced about his first father-daughter dance with Steffy and Phoebe. They cherished the memories, with Taylor saying, "You never know when someone you love will be taken from you."
