On The Bold and the Beautiful, we have been getting rather prominent glimpses of a box marked “Hope Logan Mannequin” this week in the background of the scenes that have been happening in the Forrester Creations salon. Why, oh why, is this thing back? We thought we’d seen the last of it! Is B&B bringing back the past and making it relevant again?
Fans of the show have been talking on Reddit, wondering if it's THE mannequin, and if so, why?
What we know is that The Bold and the Beautiful doesn't typically show us things that have no meaning in the grander scheme too often, and they don't make a point of showing us the same thing again and again without it having a greater meaning. Is this the case? Or is it a Fauxpe-pas?
What is the mannequin on The Bold and the Beautiful?

The mannequin could be there to remind us of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). For years, Thomas had been trying to get the girl, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). All his hard and devious work paid off, and he not only got the girl, but he married her and lived happily ever after — for one whole day.
When Hope learned that her daughter, Beth, was actually alive and that her new husband had known about it, she terminated the relationship quickly. Thomas’ obsession with Hope continued, though. After a series of crazy moments, followed by his insistence that he was reformed, Thomas found a mannequin at Forrester that looked just like Hope and brought it home. Yep, that same one is apparently back in the box and currently in the salon.
Long story short, Thomas had a relationship with the mannequin. Not only was he kissing it, but he could hear it talking and telling him to kill Liam. He got caught making out with it, but his issues were, once again, resolved. Eventually, after much time had passed, Hope decided that being with someone dedicated to her like Thomas was better than being with Liam, who always flip-flopped between her and Steffy. Of course, Thomas was thrilled. Although Steffy labels it as Hope leading her brother on, Thomas was willing to put up with it when Hope told him she loved him but refused to marry him (and would only wear his engagement ring around her neck).
After a few proposals and rejections, Thomas left for Paris with their son, Douglas. When he returned briefly, he was engaged to Paris Buckingham. Hope stopped chasing after Finn for a moment to throw herself at Thomas, but when he tested her “love,” and she rejected his proposal, he returned to France, and he has not been seen since. Maybe the mannequin is foreshadowing his return to L.A. Will he be the wedge that comes between Carter and Hope and unravels them like a kitten and a ball of yarn? Or is it just there to remind us that Hope will claim she loves anyone — even her mannequin-kissing stalker — if it suits her needs?
Hopefully, Remy hasn't seen “The Silence of the Lambs”
Seeing the mannequin in the same room as Remy might be cause for alarm. Remy took an early break from work and surprised Electra with pizza at work. And who doesn't like being surprised at work with free pizza? That would be Electra. What started out as a pleasant visit suddenly took a turn.
Remy has some solid stalker vibes coming off him in waves. Out of nowhere, Remy asks Electra why he hasn't been introduced to her family and shown where she lives, then suggested that the two of them leave L.A. and move to New York together. When Electra told Remy that they were just friends, Remy interrupted her and claimed, “We are more than just friends!”
Who can forget the immortal line from Hope’s mannequin to Thomas: “I know what you must do…Kill Liam.” Remy seems like someone who wouldn't need much persuading to descend into madness and remove anyone close to Electra or anyone he feels threatened by. He already sees Liam’s brother Will as an obstacle to his desires.
On the subreddit, r/boldandbeautiful, contributor RemarkableWriting394 posted a picture of Remy talking to Electra with the box clearly between them, commenting, “Makes no sense! Didn’t they lead us to believe this thing was destroyed after Thomas’ mannequin crisis? Why would they bring it back now, and so centrally displayed?” Others shared their theories as well:
