The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings: Ashleigh Brewer is back as Ivy, and Laneya Grace is cast as Electra Forrester
The return of fan-favorite Ivy Forrester is sure to stir the pot for Liam, Hope, and Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful.
As previously reported, the show was looking for someone to play the character of Electra Forrester, and the role has now been cast.
Laneya Grace cast as Electra Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful
As reported by Soap Opera Digest today, Laneya Grace has been contracted to play the role of B&B's Electra Forrester.
A former child actor, Grace is a model who has been in commercials and print campaigns. She appeared in the movie 72 Hours and some music videos, such as “Wake Me Up” by Avicii. Playing Electra Forrester will be Laneya Grace’s first soap opera role.
Grace started filming her scenes this week. Look for Electra to join the Forrester crew on October 22, 2024.
Who is Electra Forrester?
Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful will remember Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) brother, John Forrester, who was played by the late Fred Willard.
Electra is Eric’s grandniece. She is also the niece of Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), who is also returning to the show.
As a new character, it is not yet known where Electra will fit into a storyline or if she will be someone’s romantic interest. There are plenty of opportunities for her to stir things up if she works at Forrester Creations, or maybe she will be the newest family rebel.
Ashleigh Brewer reprises her role as Ivy Forrester
Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful will recall Ashleigh Brewer, who played Ivy Forrester from 2014 to 2018.
The last time viewers saw Ivy was when she made a brief appearance earlier this year on the April 30 and May 1 episodes.
Who is Ivy Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful?
Ivy is the daughter of Eric’s brother, John Forrester. Ivy was romantically linked to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and his brother Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
Ivy and Steffy were adversaries, not only due to their romantic interests but also because Ivy blamed Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for their cousin Aly’s (Ashlyn Pearce) death. Hope also was not a fan of Ivy. Liam missed his wedding to Hope (Annika Noelle) in Paris because he had to save Ivy after she was pushed into the Seine. Having Ivy back in town would definitely stir up some emotions for both Hope and Steffy.
When last seen, Ivy had lunch with Liam at Il Giardino, flirted a little, and took his breath away when she kissed him. Ivy also told Liam that she hadn’t forgotten their relationship. Whether or not they rekindle their relationship remains to be seen, but Liam and Ivy had a spark.
At the time, Clifton told Soaps She Knows, “What makes her [Ivy] unique with respect to Liam is that she has this sort of singular experience of him. She’s only seen the good side, not the side that Steffy and Hope have seen so much of. So Ivy knows a different Liam than everybody else on the canvas.”
