Hey! Guess what, fans! If you love Steffy Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful has a story for you. Dying ex-husband? Check. Doting daughter who wants her 'evil' stepmother to go away? Check. Unhinged stepdaughter and mother-in-law team? Check again. It's a virtual Steffy smorgasbord for the fictional L.A. fashion crowd. Where do we even start?
All about Liam (and Steffy)

While we are thankfully starting to see other points of view in Liam's death story (including Liam's), Steffy is still smack dab in the center of it. Liam now has a bromance with Steffy's husband, and if he decides to do chemo and radiation, that will be because Steffy decides he should.
From day one, this story has centered around Steffy. Steffy found Liam on the ground, she got him to the ER, she took him into her home, and she told Hope what was going on. You name it, and Steffy has been involved with this story every step of the way. We are sure that if Liam does indeed die, she will be the one holding his hand on his deathbed.
All about Luna (and Steffy)

Luna's week started out as a Will Week, as she often waffles back and forth about who to be obsessed with. After Electra put a stop to Luna's texting nonsense, Luna's focus shifted right back to Finn and, of course, Steffy.
Steffy is the cause of all of Luna's problems in the world, according to Luna. If Steffy were just gone, then Luna could have anything she wants, and what she wants is Daddy Finn. That meant we had to circle back to a panicked Steffy in Eric's office once again pontificating on the horrors of Luna. We get it. Really. She is crazy and locked Steffy in a cage. We know. We saw it. We didn't need Steffy's heavy-handed anvils about Luna's vacant eyes.
All about Bridge and Tridge (and kinda Steffy)

While Steffy is not as involved in the latest Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle as she usually is, she is still there, encouraging her mom every step of the way. She was right there, seething alongside Taylor when Brooke walked out on that runway in her Portofino wedding gown.
We are sure Steffy will make sure that Brooke's quest to win back Ridge will somehow be sabotaged, cause if Steffy isn't in every story, it wouldn't be The Bold and the Beautiful.
Now, back to our show

And what about all those stories Steffy is in? Well, at least they involve other characters who have lives outside Steffy, even if Steffy does become involved. So, Hope said yes to her sunshine this week and ran around town flashing her diamond ring.
Yes, we will admit it was kinda odd when Hope showed up at Steffy's house grinning from ear to ear to give Liam her good news. Last week, they were crying in one another's arms about his fatal tumor, but now she couldn't wait to tell him how she planned to spend the rest of her life once he was gone. We know Liam wanted to make sure Hope was happy, but she seemed just a little too happy, considering the circumstances.
Of course, Steffy had her own reaction to Hope and Carter's engagement news. The looks on Steffy and Ridge's faces said it all, but Steffy eventually came around and expressed genuine joy for Hope. As for Ridge? His facial expressions were the highlight of the week as Carter and Hope gushed about their future happily ever after.
And then there's Daphne. Why did she get a sendoff that involved a former sitcom star? That whole scene on the plane was weird for a character we barely knew, who only spent one episode away from the Forrester Creations sets.
Absolute Luna-cy

We see jobless and homeless Luna got a new wardrobe and a great set of highlights to visit her Grandma at Il Giardino and kibbitz about how to stalk men. But why has Will not blocked her yet? That would have taken care of everything weeks ago. Why did he wait to even suggest it until this week if she had been sending him constant weird messages for a month? And why tell Electra if he feared Electra would confront Luna?
And that confrontation? It was more pathetic than the last one. At least Electra didn't gently tap Luna again, so Luna could dramatically fall toward the couch. This time, all Electra had to do was speak to Luna for the Sheila Carter Evil Eye to come out. And even Sheila wasn't pleased with her granddaughter's genetic inheritance.
It was kinda trippy listening to Sheila lecture Luna on not making the same mistakes she did. That might be the best part of this story because we are getting some rational Sheila POV. We don't usually see a more human side of Sheila, where she acknowledges her (very many) shortcomings. It was surprising and refreshing, and we wouldn't mind more of it.
Brooke, give it a rest

And then there is Brooke. OMG, how much longer do we have to listen to this destiny nonsense? Another 38 years? Please no. "Come home, Ridge. It's time." If we have to hear her say those words again after repeating them over and over during the last week...just spare us.
We are tired of seeing Brook humiliate herself for Ridge, and when he does return home, we will instantly be tired of Taylor humiliating herself for Ridge. Why do these intelligent and successful women keep degrading themselves for the dressmaker? That is the age-old The Bold and the Beautiful question we will never know the answer to...
Till next week, Scoopers, when Luna's got a gun and Steffy needs to go on maternity leave.
