Bold and Beautiful Recaps: The week of December 25, 2000 on B&B

While arguing with Taylor at Taylor's house, Morgan fell over the upstairs landing. The fall caused Morgan to require an emergency c-section. As Rick and Amber discussed their futures, C.J. set up a romantic evening for Amber. Deacon set out to prove that he could be a good father.

Carmen tried without success to get Little Eric to eat. When she complained to Deacon that this wasn't working, he told her to shut up or he would find another person to act as a mother to his kid. Carmen wanted to know what Deacon had in mind for the future and Deacon admitted that he wanted Amber and the Forresters to see that he could take care of his son just as well as they could.

Amber paced the floor over at the Forrester guesthouse. Rick tried to reassure her that they would hear from Deacon soon. Amber grew increasingly concerned about why Deacon hadn't called when he promised he would. Rick said that his dad and Stephanie were in a private meeting now and perhaps they were talking with Deacon. Amber asked Rick to go over there and check. After Rick left, Amber placed a phone call to Deacon, where she heard the baby crying in the back ground. She demanded to speak with him but Deacon stated that he didn't like her attitude and hung up on her. An angry Amber went to confront Deacon and see her baby.

When Amber arrived at Deacon's apartment, Deacon answered the door. Amber again asked to see the baby but Deacon wanted her to get down on her hands and knees and beg. When she refused, he slammed the door in her face. Amber was furious. She began to pound her fists on the door and scream at Deacon to open up. When she got no response, she smashed in the window where an ax and fire extinguisher were kept. She then took the ax and proceeded to break down Deacon's door. A stunned Deacon and Carmen watched as she burst into the apartment, ax in hand.

Stephanie filled Eric in on how Morgan tricked Ridge into fathering her child. Eric was quite a bit skeptical that Ridge could be so foolish and wondered if there were still lingering feelings between Ridge and Morgan. Stephanie tried to convince Eric that it wasn't like that but Eric believed his son had to be very naive to believe that his wife wanted him to sleep with another woman. Just then, Ridge entered his father's office. He told his dad that he knew he had been extremely foolish and assured him that there was nothing going on between him and Morgan. Stephanie asked what happened when Ridge told Taylor the truth. Ridge admitted that his wife threw him out and he wasn't sure what was going to happen next. The three of them agreed that it was imperative to keep Taylor and Morgan apart.

Morgan begged and pleaded with Taylor to understand why she did what she did. She tried to tell Taylor that it was because of Stephanie that she was driven to such great lengths to have Ridge's baby. Taylor venomously told her that she made the final choice to abort Ridge's child years ago and that it did not excuse the way she tricked Ridge into sleeping with her. Morgan insisted that she wasn't trying to seduce Ridge and that she wanted Taylor to forgive and forget what happened. She proceeded to say that nothing had to change and they could still be the best of friends. Taylor accused Morgan of being psychotic. She told her that she hated her and wanted nothing to do with her or her baby. Morgan continued to try to get Taylor to understand her point of view but Taylor said that Morgan betrayed her friendship and ruined her marriage. She left Morgan alone in the living room and went upstairs.

A short time later, Taylor came out onto the staircase landing and saw that Morgan was still there. She once again told Morgan that nothing she could say would change the way Taylor felt about her and what she did. Morgan said she wasn't leaving until Taylor understood. She ran up the stairs to confront Taylor again. The two women continued to scream and yell at each other, with Taylor saying how much she hated Morgan and would never forgive her, and Morgan trying to get Taylor to see things her way. Taylor turned to walk away but Morgan grabbed her arm. When Taylor tried to pull away, Morgan fell backwards over the staircase and landed right on her stomach. A horrified Taylor looked down at the motionless Morgan.

Amber demanded that Deacon allow her to see Little Eric. At first bothDeacon and Carmen were in shock that Amber actually broke down the doorwith an ax. Carmen picked a fight with Amber and the two womenexchanged insults. Deacon finally told Carmen to leave the apartment andgo find someone to fix their door. Deacon pulled Amber into the bedroomand she angrily asked him if he was planning to rape her. He said thatit wasn't even his bedroom, it was Little Eric's. Then Amber saw thebaby and rushed over to him. Little Eric saw her and said "mommy."Amber held and kissed him, telling him that they would be together againsoon. She asked Deacon if she could take the baby home with her but hesaid "no."

Taylor looked down at a motionless Morgan and ran down the stairs tohelp her. She noticed that Morgan was bleeding and in pain. Taylorcalled an ambulance and rode with Morgan to the hospital. Once theyarrived, the doctor told Morgan that she was in labor and they could notdo anything to stop it. Morgan grabbed Taylor's hand and asked her tobe there for the baby should anything happen to her. Taylor pulled herhand away and told Morgan not to think that way.

Catherine, the Forrester nanny tried to phone Ridge to alert him to whatshe perceived to be trouble at the house earlier. Just then Ridgewalked in and asked Catherine what was going on. She explained that shehad just returned with the kids and Taylor was no where to be found.Catherine told Ridge that she believed something was wrong because shesaw an ambulance near the Forrester home. Ridge spotted some blood onthe carpet and then saw Morgan's purse on the floor. He rushed off tothe hospital in search of his wife.

The doctors took Morgan to the operating room. Taylor sat in the waitingroom, which was where Ridge found her. The couple briefly embraced andRidge asked Taylor what happened. Taylor explained that she and Morganargued and Morgan grabbed her arm and wouldn't let go. Taylor statedthat she pulled her arm away and Morgan fell. Taylor told Ridge itwasn't her fault and he said he never would have believed it was. Ridgetried once again to get Taylor to forgive him but she didn't want todiscuss it. Shortly thereafter, the nurse came and told Ridge andTaylor that Morgan was fine but had to have a C-Section to deliver thebaby. When they asked about the baby, the nurse replied that she didn'thave any information on the baby. Ridge and Taylor went in to seeMorgan. Morgan awakened and noticed that she was no longer pregnant.Taylor told her that she had just come from the operating room. Morganlooked at Ridge and told him that their child had been born.

From her hospital bed, Morgan glowed about the birth of her son to Ridge. Taylor was also in the room. Morgan told them both she was glad they were there. Morgan tried to recall the events that led her hospitalization. She concluded that Taylor had pushed her off of the balcony. Taylor corrected her and informed her that they had been arguing over the fact that she was pregnant with Ridge's child. When Ridge left the room, Morgan told Taylor that her child is a reality now and that she wants Taylor to accept her child. As a matter of fact, she'd like Taylor to convince Ridge to be involved in his son's life. An unbelieving Taylor was livid with Morgan and started to leave the room. When Ridge returned he was concerned over what Morgan and Taylor had talked about. An angry Taylor said that they had talked about nothing. Morgan asked the nurse to bring the baby to her. Morgan became panicked when the nurse seemed to hesitate.

Stephanie paid Clarke a visit while he recuperated from his ordeal with the snake. Clarke seemed concerned when Stephanie informed him that Ridge had told Taylor the truth about Morgan's child. Stephanie told Clarke that she's sure that Morgan is responsible for the snake attack. Clarke denied it, but advised Stephanie to keep Morgan at a distance from her family.

Amber told Rick that she took a fire hatchet and broke down Deacon's door because he wouldn't allow her to see Eric. Rick warned her to stay away from Deacon and his girlfriend who are both dangerous. Amber agreed that she must break up with C.J. in order that she and Rick can be together. Amber arrived at the Insomnia to meet C.J. and discovered that he had planned a very special evening for the two of them.
