The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Monday, December 16, 2024: Hope and Carter christen the office, Remy sabotages Electra

In the salon, Electra and Will talked about the takeover. He couldn’t imagine how it was being a Forrester with the coup happening. Electra felt conflicted. She thought Carter had brought her and Ivy to the company, but she felt loyal to her family. Will thought it showed how much she loved the company.

Electra told Will that she still got chills when she pulled into the lot and working in the world of fashion was her dream. Will was glad she liked it at Forrester and didn’t ever want her to leave.

Electra and Will ate the pizza that Remy brought. She said that she and Remy had dreams of moving away together from their hometown and noted he didn’t have many friends. “I don’t even know what he does in his spare time, she added. Will assured Electra that everything going on in her life were good things that she deserved and that nothing and no one would take it away from her.

At home, Remy continued to alter pictures of Electra as he muttered how he needed to get her away from Will. “You think you’re too good for me now? We’ll see about that,” he sneered as he continued. When Remy was done, he attached the folder of altered photos to an email and sent them to Katie.

Hope locked the CEO’s office door and told Carter it was all his. He walked over, grabbed her, and they kissed leaned against the desk. Hope asked if Carter was going to tell her what to do. “Only if you want me to,” Carter said. “This is going to be fun,” Hope cooed.

Hope wondered how Carter made her feel like the only woman in the world. “To me, you are,” Carter told her. With the fireplace roaring cozily behind them, Hope told him how honored she was to be the one standing next to him and listed off all of the qualities he had that she admired. Then, they undressed one another and made love on the couch.

When they were done, Carter laughed at what Ridge and Steffy would think if they knew what they had just done. Hope said she was thinking about her mom and how the coup could affect her relationship with Ridge.

At her home, Steffy told Ridge that he belonged at her place with her and Taylor. They rehashed the situation again. Ridge said Hope was cunning, and he told Brooke that he couldn’t be around her. “That’s why you left Brooke,” Taylor confirmed.

Steffy and Taylor noted that Ridge had spent many years torn between two families but said he made the right choice to leave. Ridge insisted that what Carter and Hope did was indefensible and that he was sticking to his guns. He couldn’t understand how Brooke could defend what Hope had done.

Ridge shared that he’d called Hope names he shouldn’t have. Steffy didn’t know what he said but reiterated that he did the right thing and was right where he needed to be.

Ridge wasn’t feeling much better listening to Steffy and Taylor rehash every part of the betrayals by Carter and Hope. Ridge agreed that there was nothing about it that Brooke should have agreed with. Taylor hated to see Ridge in pain and noted that a life with Brooke always seemed to lead him to that. She told him that she and Steffy supported and loved him. “We’ll always love you,” Taylor added. Ridge hugged her.

At Brooke’s, Katie walked in and saw how upset her sister was. Brooke told Katie that Carter and Hope seized control of Forrester Creations. Katie was shocked that Carter had gone through it. Brooke said there was no way to roll it back, and Justin confirmed it was legal. “So that’s it? Hope and Carter run the show now,” Katie said.

Brooke said that Carter and Hope didn’t want to do it that way. “I didn’t either,” Brooke added. She pointed out that Steffy was wrong to fire Hope. “I have to agree with Hope and Carter. The Logans have been put down way too many times,” Brooke concluded. Katie agreed but wondered how it would impact her relationship with Ridge. Brooke told her that he walked out on her.

Brooke explained that Ridge accused her of picking sides. “And he’s not?” Katie scoffed. Brooke said she didn’t agree with what her daughter had done, but Ridge had called Hope a slut. “Oh my god!” Katie balked. Brooke didn’t like that it was the same name that Stephanie had called her for years. She added that Ridge gave her an ultimatum about living with Hope. Katie was astounded that Ridge wanted Brooke to tell Hope to move out.

Katie pointed out that at least an acre separated Brooke’s house from Hope’s, but Brooke told her that wasn’t a big enough divide for Ridge. Katie understood why Ridge would be upset but felt their relationship had become collateral damage. Brooke said she would never kick out her daughter. She said Ridge left abruptly mid-discussion. Katie was sure that Ridge would come back and apologize for what he said.

Brooke was tired and went to bed. Katie offered to lock up the house on her way out. Before she left, Katie got an email. When she opened it, she saw the altered photos that Remy sent. “Oh my god, Electra!” she gasped.
