In Finn’s office, Li visited Finn and conveyed that Poppy, who didn’t know where things stood with Bill, was staying with Li. Li’s heart was breaking for her sister. Li said Luna and Poppy had been inseparable, and Poppy was devastated. Li didn’t know how Poppy would deal with losing Luna completely. Finn and Li figured Luna would spend her life behind bars. Li hated that she couldn’t fix it for Poppy, who’d feel it for the rest of her life.

Finn said the only good thing to come out of it was that it had brought the sisters closer. Li didn’t want to get ahead of herself and said it was Poppy they were talking about. She prepared to take it a step at a time, but she wouldn’t let her sister lose her. Li guessed Poppy would lose Bill next. Li didn’t know if things between them would be the same.

In Eric’s office, Steffy refused to let Hope become like Brooke. Hope said she was sorry for being out of line, but she wouldn’t allow Steffy to denigrate Brooke. Steffy claimed she called it like she saw it, and her mother had faults, too, like letting a Logan take advantage of her when her back was turned. Steffy claimed her back was never turned, and she wasn’t her mother.

Hope replied that she wasn’t her mother, either. Steffy declared that Hope aspired to be, but none of the seduction tricks would work on Finn. Steffy wouldn’t allow Hope to wreak havoc with Steffy’s family the way Brooke had with Taylor’s. Hope said she wasn’t there to be talked down to or for a history lesson. Hope was there to say she was grateful that Steffy was okay.

Steffy wondered if Hope wanted Steffy back in the cage. Hope just wanted to put the whole chapter behind them, but Steffy refused to put Hope’s kiss on the devoted Finn in the past. Steffy wouldn’t forgive or forget about it, and Steffy told Hope to accept that Hope would have nothing to do with Steffy’s husband. Steffy warned Hope to stay away from Finn.

In the design office, Taylor asked Brooke to make it clear to Hope that she needed to stay away from Finn. Brooke assumed Taylor didn’t trust Hope. Taylor was about to say she’d trusted Hope most out of the Logans but abandoned the comment. Taylor figured something was wrong with Hope, who hadn’t been herself with Thomas or Finn. Brooke noted that Taylor had put on her therapist hat. Taylor asserted that Hope was targeting Steffy’s family, and Taylor asked where Hope had learned that behavior.

Brooke didn’t see a need to dredge up history. Taylor agreed—as long as Hope didn’t repeat it. Brooke asked if Taylor was serious after Hope and Steffy had gone back and forth with Liam about his indecisiveness. Brooke claimed that the last thing Hope wanted was to go after Steffy’s husband. “Then she shouldn’t have kissed him,” Taylor snapped, advising Brooke to be concerned about her daughter.

Later, Taylor had gone, and Hope had just told Brooke about her encounter with Steffy. Brooke didn’t like Steffy’s holier-than-thou attitude with Hope. Brooke said Hope had admitted being out of line with the kiss, but Steffy had attacked Hope and the Logans when Hope had taken responsibility for it. Hope figured Steffy should have other priorities than launching into attacks and threats. Tired of it, Hope decided she shouldn’t be so sorry about that kiss, after all.

Brooke said Hope didn’t mean it, but Hope said she might. After years of back-and-forth warring over Liam, Thomas, and HFTF, it was exhausting. Brooke told her daughter that Hope could not go after Finn to get revenge on Steffy. Hope stated that she didn’t want to be that type of person, but she did care about Finn.

“Oh, my God, stop saying that!” Brooke yelled. Hope contended that she and Finn had been friends, and she didn’t want him with someone who didn’t appreciate him. “Not the way you would?” Brooke asked, demanding an answer from Hope.

Back in Eric’s office, Taylor had just conveyed to Steffy what Taylor had told Brooke earlier. Taylor claimed she’d talked to Brooke as a therapist and a mother. Taylor had advised Brooke to rein in her daughter. Steffy said Brooke wouldn’t rein in Hope. Taylor noted that Brooke had seemed unsettled by Hope’s actions. Steffy asked how Brooke could be, after all she’d done to upend their family in the past.

Finn arrived, and Taylor thanked him again for saving Steffy. Finn said he’d move heaven and earth to find Steffy. Steffy stated that she’d known he’d find her, and she’d had faith that their story hadn’t been over. Neither Sheila nor Luna had destroyed them because their connection was way too strong. Finn and Steffy hugged. Taylor looked worried.

At Bill’s house, Poppy arrived as Katie ended a call. Katie was surprised to see Poppy, who Katie thought had been spending time with her sister. Poppy quietly assumed Katie saw that as an invitation to spend time with Bill. Poppy had arrived to pick up some clothes. Katie said she and her son had been with Bill earlier, talking about how horrific things had been, and Katie wanted to take the time to apologize to Poppy.

Poppy said Katie didn’t owe her anything after the horrible things Luna had done. Poppy figured it hadn’t been easy for Katie to accept that Bill had a new child, but Katie had graciously watched them move in and take over Bill’s life. It had been a life cooked up by her daughter.

Katie stated that she needed to apologize because she’d made false accusations against Poppy. Poppy replied that her daughter was an extension of her, so Katie hadn’t been completely wrong. Katie replied that children became their own people, and she wasn’t blaming Poppy. Katie stated that she’d been wrong about Poppy.

Poppy commended Katie for admitting her wrong. Poppy said she’d been wrong, too, in thinking she could finally give Luna the family Luna had longed for. Poppy stated that Luna had lied, manipulated, and killed. Believing that Bill’s feelings had been genuine, Katie said Luna could have had the family she’d wanted if she hadn’t interfered. Bill would have accepted Luna as his own. Poppy said that dream was over, and Katie probably wanted it to be over for Poppy, too.

Katie replied that she hadn’t said that, but Poppy knew things had changed. Poppy said she and Luna were gone, and Katie got to be with Bill and her child anytime she wanted. Poppy told Katie that Luna’s dream was dead, but Poppy’s wasn’t. Poppy still loved Bill.
