Now that Sheila Carter is (allegedly) dead, it's finally time for Lauren -- and Tracey E. Bregman -- to make her way to The Bold and the Beautiful for a very special occasion.

Sheila Carter spent more than two years back on The Bold and the Beautiful scene with barely a word from the first victim of her villainous ways, The Young and the Restless' Lauren Fenmore.

Wouldn't Lauren be alarmed to know this woman was on the loose? Perhaps. But now it looks like she's relieved that Sheila is dead (again), as Tracey E. Bregman makes a crossover appearance next week.

As Finn prepares to say goodbye to his biological mom and Deacon mourns the loss of his fiancée, Lauren makes her way to the West Coast to toast the occasion with former love Eric Forrester, a man who was once married to Sheila. The two are gleeful as they catch up on old times and celebrate being free of one of soaps' most prolific villains (for now).

When Sheila first appeared on the CBS soap scene, she was a mild-mannered nurse who seduced Lauren's husband Scott. After Sheila became pregnant and lost the baby, she faked the rest of her pregnancy and kidnapped Lauren's son to pass off as hers and Scott's. That fueled a life-long rivalry that involved multiple murder attempts.

Bregman brought Lauren to Los Angeles last fall for Eric and Ridge's fashion showdown challenge, along with Kate Linder's Esther. Many fans had hoped for a Lauren-Sheila confrontation or even a long Sheila discussion, but that wasn't meant to be. With doubts about Sheila's death lingering and the possibility of a surprise return, will this latest appearance give fans what they have been waiting for?
