The Bold and the Beautiful has recruited Dieter Ruehle, the official organist for the L.A. Dodgers and the L.A. Kings, to appear in a special episode with Paris (Diamond White) and Zende (Delon de Metz).

Los Angeles sports fans won't want to miss The Bold and the Beautiful this week because the CBS soap opera is bringing a very special guest star to the screen -- and the moment will literally be music to sports fans' (and soap fans') ears. Dieter Ruehle, who serves as the official organist for the L.A. Dodgers baseball team and the L.A. Kings ice hockey team, will be popping onto the drama series on Wednesday, October 6..

The million dollar question is, of course, will the organist be playing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during his B&B appearance? Fans will have to tune in this week to find out, but the official show teasers offer a clue as to what viewers can expect: Ruehle will be playing the role of "The Dodger Representative" when Paris (Diamond White) takes Zende (Delon de Metz) on a super fun date to the Dodger Stadium, where she delivers a huge surprise!

Ruehle has been with the Kings since 1989 (outside of a six-year break between 1992 and 1998) and has been the Dodgers' full-time organist since 2016, replacing Nancy Bea, whom he had filled in for since 2013. He first teased that he would be doing something related to B&B back in September, when he posted a photo of himself on set at the CBS soap opera.

B&B and the L.A. Dodgers have a long-term relationship that has included memorable crossovers in recent years. Dodgers player Enrique Hernández made a guest appearance on the soap back in 2016, and both Karla Mosley (Maya Avant) and Reign Edwards (Nicole Avant) have performed The National Anthem for Dodgers games. And going back in time, Mike Piazza made an appearance in 1994.

What do you think about B&B bringing the L.A. Dodgers and the L.A. Kings' official organist, Dieter Ruehle, to the soap as a special guest star? What do you think about Paris' Dodger Stadium date idea? Would you consider that a dream date?
