Get ready to bid farewell to The Bold and the Beautiful's Kiara Barnes, who will soon be making her final appearance as Zoe Buckingham. As Soap Central previously reported, the actress chose to leave the soap she's been starring on since 2018 in order to take on a leading role in the upcoming Fox reboot of Fantasy Island.
The modern version of the 1978-1984 hit drama will keep the semi-anthological format of the original and will feature three main characters who live and work on Fantasy Island, greeting new guests in each episode. Barnes will play Ruby Okoro, a warm and wise young woman who arrives on Fantasy Island with a terminal illness but ends up with a new lease on life.
As for B&B, fans have long been thinking that Zoe's time on the show probably won't end well. Many speculated that Paris' sister might be murdered, but it's looking more and more likely that she'll leave the canvas alive -- albeit, with a broken heart. It's only a matter of time before Zoe finds out that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) slept with Quinn (Rena Sofer) during their short break-up, and the shocking news is probably what will send the character packing. B&B fans can find out by watching Barnes's final episode, which, as reported by Soap Opera Digest, will be Tuesday, July 6.
Fantasy Island, which will also star Roselyn Sanchez (ex-Pilar Domingo, As the World Turns) and John Gabriel Rodriguez, is set to premiere on Tuesday, August 10, on Fox. Check out a teaser trailer below and let us know what you think in the Comments section at the end of the article.
