After almost two decades of focusing on acting, The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) decided to jump into the music world. As it turns out, he has proven to be just as lovable as a musician as he is as an actor. So, fans will be happy to hear he has just released a new single.
Young took to Instagram to proudly share that the song "Fool For You" is now available on Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, iTunes, and Pandora.
"ITS ARRIVED!" he wrote. "I want to say a huge thank you to all the support y'all have given me! With out your kind words and belief in me, I'm not sure I would have had the courage to share my songs with you. I'm so blessed. I want to thank [my wife] @christenyoung4 for helping me find the strength and showing me the way to happiness. A massive thank you to @thestevefreeman your amazing. @johnkennedyproductions And thank you to the big man upstairs!"
When Young first announced that he intended to try his hand as a country artist, he shared that it was largely due to his wife, Christen's, urging.
"It all kind of started on a whim. My wife [Christen] told me I should stop just playing around the house and share it with the rest of the world," he said. "Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long, but it might not have been the right time. I feel like now more than ever this is the right time."
