Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Deacon Sharpe in love with a murderous ex-federal state prisoner is one thing, but having her granddaughter turn out to be just like her? Now you’re asking too much of the con-turned-restauranteur. When Sheila decided to tell her husband that her estranged son had an affair with his adoptive aunt, resulting in a grandchild that she felt an immediate bond with, she expected him to be happily surprised. Instead, her former bad boy lost his temper quicker than you can say hot sauce. While Deacon has been relatively calm and full of great advice lately (except that time last summer when his wife’s soon-to-be grandchild killed his best friends), today, he let loose. Deacon found his boundaries and told Sheila that he has put up with enough crazy in his life, or at least, since falling for her. He had no issues being crazy in love, and appreciated their crazy-good sex. But crazy in the form of Luna being her granddaughter? Yeah, no, Deacon will pass. He told Sheila clearly and firmly exactly where he stood. And this wasn’t like when she wanted to decorate Il Giardino for Halloween ‘a little’ and he felt transformed into Wicked. Nope, Deacon wanted nothing to do with anymore of Carter DNA in his restaurant, his home, or his dojo. He told Sheila to make a choice of how she wanted life to be, and if she chose the path that included skipping down the yellow brick road with her new grandkid, then she’d be doing it without him. However, as proud as we are to see Deacon get spicy with Sheila, he might want to pause that thought for just a sec. Remember when Sheila was prevented from being in Finn’s life? She removed the obstacle. While she might not go after Deacon or see him as a roadblock to a happy relationship with Luna, we are pretty sure Sheila and Luna have too many similarities for comfort. The last thing Deacon needs is to become collateral damage to anything the two of them get involved in.
