Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric demonstrated that just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Now that the pesky coup thing is behind him, it’s all water under the bridge — and the boat — for Eric. At their first moment alone (that we’ve seen), Eric used visuals to discuss reuniting with Brooke and Ridge. First, he turned the photo of him and Ridge on his desk and asked Brooke if she was missing her ex. Then he just happened to have the video handy of one of their eight weddings on his laptop, and turned on the video to remind her of the time in Portofino, Italy, when she arrived at the altar via boat. The best part was when he told Brooke to come back later and discuss it further. Plot against Taylor much, Eric? Okay, granted, it doesn’t matter if you’re a Bridge or Tridge champion, or if you left the field after the last switcheroo, or if you’ve even slid into a second-generation round of Lope or Steam. The flip-flopping by the actual people is bad enough; we don’t need Eric, who surely has better things to do right now, to be concerned with backstabbing Taylor again and trying to remind two supposed soulmates that they need to reunite. While we’re sure it’s as easy as taking a boat ride down memory stream to get Ridge to change his mind over which of these two women he doesn’t deserve, having Eric meddle in it is a weird move with Taylor living in his house and him telling her she’s family.
