The Bold and Beautiful stars unite during fire crisis

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan and Sheila Carter may be mortal enemies, but in real life, the actresses that play them are friends. Their relationship was appreciated this past week when fires raged through Los Angeles.

On Instagram, Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, posted a photo a few days ago of her next to a pool and somewhere with a clear blue sky. She noted she was "happy to be out of Los Angeles" and thanked her co-star Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter).

Today, Lang gave an update to the followers who had been asking if she was okay and safe and explained further where she had been. From the CBS studio, Lang shared a photo of the sunrise over Los Angeles and captioned “Back to work today…almost 4 weeks off.” She then added a video from backstage at The Bold and the Beautiful.

Lang began by noting she was back to work and back to "some sort of normalcy." “Not back in the house yet — the fire is still close to our house but shouldn’t get to it, hopefully. But I want to thank my friends, Kimberlin and Jennifer, for taking us in and giving us lots of love and support during this week,” Lang shared.

The B&B star put her hand on her heart and added that she felt for those who had lost everything. She asked that people try to help and donate in any way that they could.

Yesterday, Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) also posted a video on Instagram. “Ok, so, I was in a position to have people come and stay with me at my home that needed to be evacuated. And I’m hoping that those folks up in L.A. that have some space or even the ones down here in San Diego county where I’m at…please open up your homes. You have so many people who need the help at the moment, just until they get back on their feet and figure things out, even if it’s for a few days. Do what you can. Thanks,” Brown shared.

Lang and Brown’s costar, Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan), lost her home in the Malibu fires. She shared an update on Instagram of a photo of where her house had been standing, followed by a picture of the beach with a blue sky and the sun shining. She captioned the post with inspirational quotes:

Gareis added, “These pictures are beautiful, yet devastating. (The 1st from yesterday, the 2nd last weekend) Somehow the trees remain and the grill I bought my husband more than a decade ago still stands. The sun continues to rise & the ocean unaffected. I am breathing… slow and deliberate breaths… I am calm. I know I’ll make new memories here in the years to come. In the meantime, I’ll cherish the old ones & hold my family & friends even closer. Everyone in LA stay safe & don’t give up hope. Believing in a better tomorrow is giving me peace & calm. I pray for a more united city in the future, where neighbor helps neighbor. Stay positive & strong LA! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻”
