Nearly a year after debuting as Luna Nozawa on The Bold and the Beautiful, Lisa Yamada is stunning fans as Luna's life takes an unexpected turn.

The Bold and the Beautiful's perfect heroine

The very demure Forrester Creations intern who could do no wrong has turned out to be a deranged serial killer. Luna has no problem murdering anyone who gets in the way of her dreams for a cushy life.

B&B let fans know that Luna had a secret the day she first walked into Eric Forrester's living room, but that secret was soon revealed. She was Li Finnegan's niece, and Aunt Li did not want her around, due to a falling-out Li had had with her sister, Poppy, years ago.

After Poppy arrived in Los Angeles to live closer to her daughter, there were signs of Luna's gold-digging ways. When she and Poppy lunched at Il Giardino, Luna fawned over publishing mogul Bill Spencer. However, her affection for R.J. Forrester seemed genuine. Now, it turns out she was after R.J. for his money but found an even better catch in Bill when she thought she could pass herself off as Bill's daughter.

Luna is not who she seemed

Minutes after it was revealed that Luna wasn't Bill's daughter, after all, she planted a kiss on the man her mother was in love with. When she did it again a week later, Bill was more horrified than the first time. Little did either one of them know that Steffy witnessed the whole thing. Luna eventually spotted Steffy's reflection in the mirror and knew the jig was up.

After Steffy confronted Luna in her old apartment, Luna gave Steffy drugged iced tea and then locked her in a cage. She later told Steffy that she'd known for years that Tom Star was her father, but she'd killed him so the truth would never come out. Luna had also killed Hollis when he'd almost caught on to what she'd done.

Lisa Yamada gives new life to Luna

Fans have been loving the change in Luna and praising Yamada's performance as the disturbed young woman. Yamada shared several posts on her Instagram stories, including a snap of Luna's sadistic smile. On the pic, she wrote, "Thank you so much for all of the love. I've been giggling and kicking my feet all around reading all of your tweets."

Yamada even posted a video of herself in Luna's leather killer attire, dancing to Charli XCX's "Apple" featuring the lyrics "I guess the apple's rotten right to the core."

B&B fan @JadeJadebomher posted the video, which you can watch below, to X (formerly Twitter).

Yamada called the video "Me after killing 2 people and framing my mom for the murders."

Will Luna get away with what she did? Can she be redeemed, or does B&B have a new villainess on its hands in the spirit of Sheila Carter?
