What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Poppy’s (Romy Park) has been under a lot of pressure. Her sister, Li (Naomi Matsuda), let a couple of decades of resentment and suspicion get the best of her and accused Poppy of having an affair with Li’s husband, Jack Finnegan (Ted King).

Although that issue was resolved, it got everyone asking Poppy the same question: Who was Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) father? Li wondered, then Jack asked Poppy who it was, and then Finn (Tanner Novlan) demanded to know if he was the dad.

Poppy held that secret Luna’s entire life, but she must have thought it was about to be revealed if she finally wanted to talk to Luna about it. Poppy goes to prison to talk to her daughter, but the warden tells her that Luna isn’t there. On Monday, Poppy freaks out when she learns that Luna is missing from jail.

But will Poppy also be told that Luna is on house arrest and living at the Spencer mansion? Bill (Don Diamont) tells Luna every day that no one can know that she’s there. But was the warden given that rule? If Poppy finds out that Luna is with Bill, everyone is close to finding out, too.

Meanwhile, at Finn’s office in the hospital, he gets another DNA test and Luna’s blood from the lab. Finn asked Poppy back when she was pregnant and again now if Luna was a product of his one-night stand with Poppy all those years ago, but she denied it. But just like his mom, Finn has had suspicions for years and wants to know for sure.

Finn did the paternity test to get the answers he needed, although they may not be the answers he wanted. On Monday, Finn attempts to control his emotions. Is he overcome that he really is Luna’s father and upset that he missed out on seeing his daughter growing up? Or is he relieved that his murderous cousin isn’t his daughter? Or, did he just get life-changing information that he needs to process but is supposed to be celebrating his wedding anniversary? The information would be hard enough to hear, but telling Steffy on her anniversary that the woman who tried to kill her is her new stepdaughter isn’t really that ideal. Finn might have thought he wanted answers, but he could be opening a Pandora’s box.
