What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has a lot on his mind and talks to his dad about what’s going on with their lives and how much everything has changed since Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) pulled off the takeover. When Ridge first heard that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) had taken his CEO position at Forrester Creations, he was in shock. He had never felt so betrayed and made some proclamations to his family. Ridge told them that he always goes back to Brooke and she just hurts him all over again.

Of course, Ridge failed to see the irony that another one of his patterns was to immediately go back to Taylor, and so he did exactly that. Now he’s in a bit of a pickle. Brooke knew Taylor had been upstairs and was wearing just his shirt, and assumed that he already had Taylor in his bed. Despite that, Brooke messaged Ridge on Christmas Eve and let him know she was thinking about him. Ridge didn’t respond, but he did seem affected.

On Friday, Brooke takes a bold leap, finally revealing her secrets hidden from Ridge. Brooke tells Ridge that she didn’t betray him the way he thinks and that she actually wants the company back in his hands. What will that information do for Ridge? Will it change his mind about being with Brooke — and what does that mean for his budding relationship with Taylor?

Meanwhile, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) talk about the latest developments between Ridge and Taylor and what it means for their relationship, and their family.

Steffy talked to her dad and wanted to ensure he was being mindful of Taylor’s heart, especially because of her recent broken heart syndrome. Ridge promised that he would be, but is it too late? Did Ridge’s advances and affection leave Taylor wanting more? Or has she realized she’s already in too deep?

On Friday, Taylor warns Steffy not to get too excited about whatever it is that is happening because she knows Brooke well enough to know that she will try to win Ridge back.
