What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
Little Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) is all ready for the daddy-daughter dance she has been looking forward to forever. She has a pretty dress all picked out and knows she is going to have the best time with her daddy.
When an excited Kelly tells Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that she can't wait for Daddy to get there already, Steffy is forced to break the bad news to her daughter. Liam (Scott Clifton) is not going to be able to make it. Will she try to console Kelly by telling her she has Finn (Tanner Novlan) as a backup dad and they will have the best time together, or is Finn stuck at work trying to take care of Liam?
Liam puts up a fight
Meanwhile, Liam is just as distraught as Kelly over missing the dance, and maybe even more so. In fact, he still intends to go despite just having brain surgery and being laid up in a hospital bed. When his doctors try to stop him, Liam fights back. There is no way he is going to miss this big night. Liam lives for his daughters and promised to be there for Kelly, come hell or high water.
He struggles to get out of bed, but that's easier said than done with a medical team attempting to hold him down.
What Liam doesn't know is just how serious his condition is. Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Grace (Cassandra Creech) meet with Finn to tell them what they found. "It's inoperable," Bridget is horrified to say. Does Liam have a brain tumor that cannot be removed? Is he really dying?

Finn is devastated when he gets this news and is not sure what to tell Steffy. Perhaps he can play hero again with Bridget as they did with Eric (John McCook). Bridget's dad had been told his condition was fatal, but Finn managed to find an experimental cure. Can he find an experimental surgery that can save Liam, or is Liam now doomed?
