What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
Instead of his girlfriend, Hope (Annika Noelle), Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) invited Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) to lunch last week and didn’t pull away as she laid her hand on his arm while telling him that she could read what was on his mind. In fact, he hasn’t been pulling away at all every time Daphne either tells him she knows what he’s thinking or when she gets touchy-feely.

Carter told Daphne that it was like she could see right through him…and he seemed to like it. While Daphne had been playing a game with Carter, she also found him attractive. She has been on a mission to help the Forresters get their company back. Originally, Daphne was assigned to seduce Carter, break up him and Hope, and then with them fractured, they would figure out a way to get the company back. But given Carter’s apparent remorse for how it all went down, the plan was shifted to play on his guilt and get him to just return it.
On Monday, Daphne makes a stunning admission to Carter. Throughout this attempt to pretend to be interested, did Daphne fall for Carter? If she tells him how she feels, will it complicate their working relationship, and will she find herself distanced from him? Daphne won’t be able to convince him to give back Forrester Creations if she doesn’t have influence over him. Or does Carter feel the same way about Daphne?
Meanwhile on Monday, Hope attempts to process the betrayal she witnessed. She had come to the CEO’s office to congratulate her man on a job well done, only to see him with Daphne in his arms, and his lips locked firmly on hers. Up until that moment, Hope thought she was one-half of a power couple with a man who loved her.
Will Hope care as much that Carter isn’t as in love with her as she thought? Or will her fear of losing the power she has be the most important thing to her?
A growing family tree
Finn (Tanner Novlan) went to see Luna (Lisa Yamada) at the Spencer mansion and listened to her apologize for hurting him and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). His sympathies were on overdrive when she talked about how she only became a double murderer because of her poor childhood and growing up without a positive influence, like say, a father figure in her life.

Finn sobbed that he didn’t know. But Luna thinks Finn meant he didn’t know about how she suffered as a child. Little does Luna know that what he actually meant was that he didn’t know until recently that he is her father. On Monday, secrets unravel between Finn and Luna as he manages to tell her that she’s his daughter.
