On The Bold and the Beautiful this week, we’re about to see the fists fly yet again — or in this case, the cake.
Poppy and Sheila fight on The Bold and the Beautiful

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, the mama bears of fictional L.A. have a go at one another. It might not be quite as physical as the showdown between Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Deacon (Sean Kanan), but it’s a what-to-watch moment when Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Poppy (Romy Park) battle it out.
The last time we saw the two women together, Poppy was lamenting about the loss of her relationship with her daughter, Luna (Lisa Yamada). It resonated for Sheila, who likened Poppy’s situation to that of Sheila and her son, Finn (Tanner Novlan). Sheila’s husband, Deacon, wasn’t interested in any of it, and didn’t understand why Sheila cared so much. More than that, he worried that Sheila’s conversation with Poppy would stir up some of Sheila’s feelings that would quickly turn into an obsession about getting Finn back in her life.
Let them eat cake

Now that Sheila has discovered that Luna is her granddaughter, her perspective has changed on almost everything. Instead of having sympathy for Poppy, she has taken on Luna’s point of view that it’s the fault of her mom for Luna turning into a murderer. If Poppy had told the truth (or not slept with her nephew), then Luna wouldn’t have grown up without Finn in her life as her father.
Sheila goes into attack mode when Poppy comes to Il Giardino. Nothing infuriates Sheila more than someone who stands between her and her ability to have a relationship with her son. Now, Poppy is on that list — and Sheila blames Poppy for not being able to have a relationship with her granddaughter as well. At Il Giardino, Sheila and Poppy’s argument escalates to the point of getting physical. After calling Poppy a slut, Sheila goes all in and shoves cake in Poppy’s face.
Poppy might not get banned from the restaurant like Carter did, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be welcomed back anytime soon. Her sister, Li, has also been known to be flinging food in the establishment. She herself once used some Nozawa power to attack Sheila (over Finn) and pushed her face into a bowl of pasta. If Li could live to tell about it, maybe there’s hope for Poppy as well.
