The Bold and the Beautiful's Liam Spencer's last dance

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam Spencer was given a fatal diagnosis, and he doesn’t even know. While his doctors cry, Steffy has to pretend she doesn’t know and can’t ask the question we all want the answer to: Is Liam going to die?

Last week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) took another tumble. He was at his father’s mansion, and he and Bill (Don Diamont) had been arguing. Liam was furious that his dad was involved with Luna (Lisa Yamada) getting out of prison and being pardoned. Given that she had killed two men and kidnapped Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam was aghast at his dad’s attitude about protecting Luna instead of his own family.

Bill stormed out and told Liam not to be there when he returned. What he didn’t know was that right after he left, Liam got dizzy and passed out, hitting the back of his head on the coffee table on the way down. Liam regained consciousness, made his way to the front door, but then fell again, this time he dead-dropped on the stone walkway. Once again, the back of his head was hit.

Steffy found Liam, and he was rushed to the hospital, where Dr. Grace Buckingham was able to attend to him. However, Liam flatlined shortly after he arrived. He was revived and had surgery, and remained in the hospital, grateful to Steffy for saving his life. What none of them knew, though, was that she hadn’t.

Will Liam die on The Bold and the Beautiful?

It was no ordinary injury that Liam sustained; he had a cranial hemorrhage that required an operation. But since then, Dr. Bridget Forrester was called in to look at his case and help assess Liam’s condition. Bridget and Grace went to see Finn in his office in the hospital. Tearfully, they explained that Liam had a mass on his brain and it was inoperable.

Finn was stunned, and Bridget cried while thinking about Liam’s daughters and how affected they were going to be to lose their dad. All three doctors had looked at Liam’s scans and drawn the same conclusions. Is there something they missed? Is there a treatment they don’t know about? Even if he was granted a long, loving goodbye, it would be hard to imagine Liam not on the B&B landscape.
