The Bold and the Beautiful's Katherine Kelly Lang wins Women Power Award

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Katherine Kelly Lang has played Brooke Logan since the show began in 1985. This past weekend, she was honored at the 10th Filming Italy celebration of strengthening the Italy-U.S. Creative Bridge.

The 10th edition of Filming Italy Los Angeles took place from February 19 to 22, 2025, and marked a decade of cultural exchange and industry collaboration. For Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, it was an extra-special event.

Lang took home the Women Power Award for being an inspiration to women in the world. She shared the news on her Instagram. “Feeling incredibly honored to receive the Women Power Award at the Filming Italy Film Festival! Being on television for over 38 years has given me a platform to empower and inspire women worldwide, and that is something I will always cherish. Representation matters, and using our voices to uplift and support one another is so important,” Lang wrote.

Lang thanked Tiziana Rocca, the event coordinator and general director of Filming Italy for “organizing such a beautiful event and for celebrating strong, inspiring women. I’m beyond grateful!” She also credited Alessio Fillipppelli for “making it all possible.” Lang was accessorized by @APMMonaco “with the most stunning jewels for [the] unforgettable evening.”

Filming Italy champions Italian cinema on the global stage. Over the years, Filming Italy Los Angeles has become an important platform for the promotion of Italian cinema, showcasing Italy as a premier filming destination. The festival program will feature exclusive premieres, restored classics, TV series, short films, and documentaries, as well as engaging panel discussions and masterclasses with distinguished guests from Italy and Hollywood.

Also at this year’s festival, Gabriele Muccino, received the Filming Italy Los Angeles Best Director Award, and Alec Baldwin was honored with the Filming Italy Achievement Award.

Earlier this month, renowned public relations and branding expert Alessio Filippelli announced he was representing Lang, a union meant to combine the actress’ decades-long career with Filipelli’s expertise.

The collaboration marked a pivotal moment in both of their careers, uniting Lang’s decades-long legacy in entertainment with Filippelli’s abilities to elevate high-profile talent worldwide. Filippelli intends to open new opportunities for Lang and promote her in arenas beyond TV.

Ironic to her current storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful, the goal of the collaboration with Filippelli is to create Lang’s global branding, blending her legacy with new ventures.
