The Bold and the Beautiful's Don Diamont BTS prank on Y&R's Josh Morrow

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless will get a laugh out of this behind-the-scenes banter amongst the shows’ cast members.

Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful and used to play Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless, shared a funny story on his Instagram today.

Diamont usually keeps somewhat private on social media, but he decided to treat fans to a backstage look into his dressing room, and some hilarity ensued behind the scenes. Fans of the sister CBS shows know that Crew Morrow was cast last year as Diamont’s on-screen son, Will Spencer. In real life, Crew is the son of Joshua Morrow, who plays Nicholas Newman on Y&R.

The story was about a photo in Diamont’s dressing room. “So here’s the story for all of you @boldandbeautifulcbs and @youngandrestlesscbs fans. After @joshuamorrowyr ‘s son, @crewjmorrow was cast to play my son on B&B, I walked into my dressing room one morning to find that a family picture had been removed from a frame, and replaced with an 8 x 10 of Josh.”

Diamont panned the room in a video along with two photos, and noted that you can see the photo of Morrow in the second picture. He continued, “Josh, of course, did that himself, and was very amused by [it], and proud of his prank. I’ve kept his framed picture up in my room because I love Josh, and let’s face it, he looks up to me as….DADDY. I’m more than happy to have his framed 8x10 in my room. I know it means a lot to him!”

Hilariously, Diamont brought the punchline: “Having said that, I felt it was only appropriate that I return the favor with a mic drop prank response. SOOOO I took a poster that I used to sign at autograph appearances in the 90s, framed it, and hung it in Josh‘s room while he was on set . I autographed it with the caption, “ Josh, I’m so glad I could find this vintage Don Diamont poster that you’ve been asking for. Enjoy! Love, Don “ Needless to say, Josh and Crew thought it was hysterical, and Josh said “ Brilliant, YOU WIN“ …….Boys will be boys….”
