With The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna now behind bars, the soap is looking to fill its young leading lady roster with someone new.

According to TV Insider, B&B is now actively searching for an actress to take on the role of Brittany. The character is described as a "leading lady…any mixed ethnicity, fashionable, poised, beautiful, confident, playful, energetic, and assertive."
In 2023, B&B cast Lisa Yamada as a similar character to be a love interest for Johsua Hoffman's R.J. Forrester. Luna came on the scene as a poised and polished Forrester intern determined to make her way in the world. She seemed perfectly perfect as she fell for R.J. and made herself indispensable at Forrester Creations. Luna even had a tie to the canvas when she was revealed as Finn's cousin.
However, fans recently learned that was all a ruse, and Luna was a gold-digging backstabber who morphed into a murderer when she killed Tom and Hollis. Luna also locked Steffy in a cage and tried to kill her. Now, Luna is in jail, and R.J. is without a girlfriend.
Two men for Brittany?
Could Brittany become what Luna was meant to be—namely the soap's new young heroine who will catch the eye of two young leading men? With Bill Spencer's son Will and Ridge Forrester's son R.J. as part of the canvas, fans could be looking at a potential love triangle.
When Luna was still portrayed as a sweet ingenue, R.J. caught her eye, but Luna caught Zende's eye. Luna and Zende ended up sleeping together when Luna had supposedly eaten her mother's drug-laced mints. However, Luna revealed to Steffy that she had faked being drugged and had wanted to sleep with Zende, who she claimed was much better in bed than R.J.
Of course, Luna could always return, as a good villainess often does (like Sheila Carter), and give Brittany a run for her money. Perhaps they can have an epic rivalry along the lines of Brooke and Taylor, and Steffy and Hope. Time will tell.
