The Bold and the Beautiful Comings and Goings: Jack Wagner returns as Nick Marone

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have been wondering what is next for Brooke Logan now that she and her destiny have split. But there was a time when someone else filled Ridge’s spot in Brooke’s life: Nick Marone.

Jack Wagner returns to The Bold and the Beautiful

When Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) parted ways recently and Ridge reunited with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), fans feared they were in for another Bridge/Tridge triangle. What they didn’t foresee was the return of a previous love of Brooke’s: Nick Marone.

Jack Wagner swashbuckled into town in 2003 as the sea captain Nick Marone — son of Massimo Marone (Joseph Mascolo) and the half-brother of Ridge Forrester.

The timing of Nick’s return is ironic not just because Brooke happens to be single — at one point, Nick was in control of Forrester Creations in a hostile takeover situation. As for romance, Nick wasn’t only involved with Brooke. He and Taylor thought they had a baby (though it turned out to be Brooke’s eggs that were donated) and he was married a couple of times to Brooke’s daughter, Bridget.

What brings Nick to The Bold and the Beautiful

According to Deadline, Jack Wagner returned to the B&B set today to begin taping. His first on-air appearance will be on June 13. As reported, “After a series of tumultuous events in her ongoing relationship with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke is feeling defeated and lost, grappling with heartbreak and the painful realization that her relationship may be irreparably broken. As she struggles with her emotions, Nick’s unexpected arrival brings a rush of memories and unresolved feelings back to the surface. His charismatic and supportive nature offers Brooke a sense of comfort and stability that she desperately needs. Their connection reignites old flames, offering Brooke a chance at happiness and a fresh start away from the shadow of her past with Ridge.”

If history repeats itself, Ridge won’t like seeing Brooke with someone else. Will it be enough to pull him away from Taylor? Ridge and Nick weren’t close, in fact they were rivals both personally and professionally.

The last time Wagner was on the show was for the 35th anniversary in 2022. He left as Nick Marone in 2012.
