The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings: Daddy's home! Ted King returns as Jack Finnegan

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Li made a shocking discovery this week. She realized that Tom Starr’s liver was going to be destroyed as there wasn’t a match as a donor since he died last year. Li had suspicions about Luna’s paternity and whether or not Tom was her dad — or if Luna’s father was actually Li’s husband, Jack.

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Ted King plays Li’s husband and Finn’s father, Jack Finnegan. He posted a picture of himself on Instagram standing in front of the Television City sign. “So grateful Jack is back! A lot of mayhem will ensue on your screens over the next few days. Happy we were able to shoot these scenes before the recent Los Angeles catastrophes,” he captioned the photo.

Father knows best

Jack got himself into some real hot water a few years ago when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) announced that she was Finn’s biological mother. Finn thought he had been adopted by Jack and Li, who raised him in a loving home, and he didn’t think he could have asked for better parents. However, Finn was curious about who his biological father was. Jack was backed into a corner, and he confessed to Li that he had a brief affair with Sheila, and he had known Finn’s whole life that has actually their son’s biological father.

Now, it turns out, he’s also the biological father of Luna, which means that he and his sister-in-law, Poppy (Romy Park), also had an affair. When Li completes DNA testing in her office, she realizes that her husband betrayed her more than once. Worse, it was with her sister.

Finn’s in-laws have been a bit of a daunting task to warm up to, if you count being shot by your mother-in-law, thinking you stabbed her to death and a bunch of other pesky stuff Sheila has done over the years while obsessively targeting the Forresters. Steffy might not be too happy to learn that double-murderer Luna is her new sister-in-law. Luna kidnapped Steffy and tried to kill her, keeping her trapped in a cage without food and water and leaving her to die when the building was set to be demolished. Had Finn and Li not tracked her and Luna down, Steffy very well could have been killed, and Luna wouldn’t have been put behind bars.

Luna still needs to know that she is a Finnegan, but she’s a little preoccupied. Serving her sentence at the Spencer mansion with an ankle bracelet and a backstage pass to everything Will (Crew Morrow), she has her sights on making Bill Spencer her daddy one way or another. It didn’t work out manipulating the paternity test and trying to get him to be her sugar daddy was a bust. But father-in-law is Luna’s new goal for Bill.

Poppy’s life is about to fall apart and she doesn’t have anyone to turn to. Will she try to lean on Bill, only to find her daughter at his house? And will Li ever forgive her sister? Jack might not have any hope of rectifying his relationships with his wife and son after this revelation.
