Here we go again, B&B’ers. What a week to cover! The audacity of Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) never ceases to amaze, and the Forrester legacy is in more trouble than we first thought. Seeing Carter being seated by Hope in Ridges's chair behind the CEO's desk just doesn't...sit...well. But let's get into the week that was!

Flew the Coup

It's official: Carter is at the helm of Forrester Creations; you can’t believe it, I can't believe it, and neither can the Forresters. The amount of back-patting and mutual appreciation from the Never Been Told No Club is wearing thin. We saw Hope congratulating Carter many times and telling him he’s a goooooood man. That is not a typo; she drew that word out as if she gets paid by the second.

It's hard to keep track of the reason Hope and Carter pulled a coup. Carter tells Ridge, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Eric (John McCook) that he did it alone to stand up for the poor, beaten down, hard-done-by Logans, yet gushes to Hope that he did it for her and couldn't have done it without her.

Or should that be, he wouldn't have done it without her? Steffy and Ridge sure think so. Carter and Hope meet with Zende (Delon de Metz), and he is incredulous when he finds out that they have stolen the company. Hope told Zende that he could be the lead designer of HFTF (as if he wasn't already and as if she had any alternative) to smooth things over.

It appeared his loyalty would be tested, but the next lot of spoilers say that Ridge, Steffy, Eric, and Zende are plotting together, not so easily swayed by shiny things is our Zende. Good for you. After snickering with each other in front of Zende about how they tricked everyone, Cope was very careful in the room with Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow). That time, they specifically hid the fact that they stole the company from Steffy and Ridge and only stated that they were now in control. Maybe the newbies were not really focused on what they were hearing because of the weirdness in the salon with the cringe boy (Remy) — but more on that later.

A Bridge over Troubled Water

"There’s something wrong with Hope," Ridge said to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She’s been on a tear all year, and it has been excused by Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Brooke as Hope just "having a rough year." Come on, Eileen. We get it. Hope is your daughter, and we’re not painting her as the pied piper, but when Carter talks, it's like hearing Hope's words. By his own admission, Carter did it for Hope. The man fell in love blah blah blah. Regardless, Bridge seems to be on a crash course, with the inevitable blow-up hitting the accelerator in the CEO’s office when Ridge called Hope a “nasty little bitch.” Oh yes, he did. And the tirade from Ridge had Brooke aghast. Her precious, can’t-do-wrong Hope is being called names by her partner?! The fractures were already visible the previous week as Brooke was trying to avoid picking a side, but it's really come to a head now. Ridge left the building and said, “Come on, Brooke, we’re leaving,” as he walked by. There was a dramatic pause where Brooke looked at Hope, looking at Carter looking at Brooke, and, for a moment, we all thought she wasn't going to go with him.

The wheels really fall off back at Brooke's, where Ridge and Brooke discuss what happened. It’s full of moments all centered around the theory that Ridge couldn't keep villainizing her daughter but wanted to villainize his. She glossed over what Carter and Hope did and wanted to keep the focus on why they had to do what they did. Hold up…is this justification for their actions?

Of course, this goes over really well with Ridge, and he tells Brooke that with all the free time they have now, they should do that world cruise together, and maybe Carter and Hope should join them, maybe they should get married, and he'd plan a fabulous honeymoon. Yeah, right.

Ridge is just astonished at Brooke being unable to see how things got here. Brooke says while it’s unethical (and illegal, Brooke, but sure, let’s gloss over that bit), what they are saying is rooted in truth.

Here it comes, “The Logans have been treated like peasants for decades,” Brooke cries from within her mansion. She’s made a fortune thanks to the Forresters. Hope and Katie (Heather Tom) got their positions on undeniable talent…right? Brooke has a rich and couture’d life, and so do all of the Logans because of either working at Forrester, or by being part of the Forrester family. Failing to see the peasants here. Take a Brooke in the mirror for a moment and see why Hope is the way she is.

After Ridge tells Brooke again that Carter taking the company over is, in fact, her daughter's fault (and that Hope uses people to get what she wants), Brooke is now covering her ears and regresses to a child. All that's missing is running out of the room and slamming the door.

Brooke insists what Ridge is saying isn't fair, so Ridge asks if Hope is a worthless slut. Wow! Brooke says she doesn't even know who Ridge is anymore, calling her daughter a bitch and a slut. But Ridge isn’t having any of it. He doesn't know who she is, either, apparently. So the two new strangers are at an impasse, with Ridge wondering why she can't see he's had a bad day and her insisting he needs to do some inner reflection and realize why Hope and Carter were right to do what they did. Ridge walked out the door and straight into the arms of Taylor and Steffy (literally...group hug time at the cliff house). The spoilers already informed us that Brooke will be CEO at Forrester, so next week will be a riot. Can. Not. Wait.

Electra moved to L.A. to get away from the humiliation of the deeply faked photos that turned up of her in her old town. And the human equivalent of the bad penny has now turned up in L.A. Fresh on her heels, enter Mr. Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann). If the scene of Remy sitting hooded in his room salivating (and later sobbing) over pictures of Electra on his computer and all over his wall wasn't enough to convince people that this man had nefarious intent, then this week, no one should be on the fence with this.

Remy takes a break from work to attend to Electras’ need for unsolicited pizza and conversation and arrives unannounced at the salon at Forrester Creations. Both Will and Electra are surprised to see Creeper McCreep show up. Electra has to explain to Remy that she has a real job and doesn't want to mess that up, while Will's style was to tell Remy that the pizza boy is normally gone before the pie is cold. Spencer, much? Remy asked Electra why she hadn't introduced him to her family or showed him where she lives. And if we were wondering if we should give this guy the benefit of the doubt a week ago, he corrected that train of thought real quick. Will knew something was amiss here, but Electra didn't see it.

But we got to see Remy at home looking at a picture of Electra on his computer, and he’s using software to remove her clothing. Remy says L.A. has changed her, and he was not going to let that happen, and he wouldn't lose her to Will. Look out, Electra, it's about to happen again. Will was right. We were all right. Next week has teased that Electra will be fired and Will will threaten Remy, which can't be unrelated. Will has every right to be concerned, and he had better be on top of his game to stay ahead of Remy because he might be in just as much danger as she is.

Ridge went over to Steffy's place, where Taylor (Rebecca Budig) was, and Ridge and Steffy discussed their shocking day. Ridge told Steffy that Brooke was fiercely defending Hope, leading to a major argument, with Ridge giving Brooke an ultimatum: Hope or him. Steffy offered Ridge a place to stay, and Taylor and Steffy emphasized their love and support. The group hugged and …scene. Next week, conveniently in a bedroom, Ridge and Taylor seem to be having a moment, and Ridge tells her, “He sees it now.” Going to presume he means he sees how Brooke wrecks his life like Steffy and Taylor are always telling him. And of course, Brooke is banging on the door that they need to talk. Lemme guess...she lets herself in and wanders through the bedrooms to see if he's somewhere playing a video game, and instead finds him and Taylor balancing their chakras?

The cold months are coming, but our screens are heating up, and I, for one, cannot wait to see next week's episodes. Yes, what Remy is doing to Electra behind the scenes is pretty gross, but he’s a long way from being done. How should Will handle this? Will relationships be in tatters? How long til Forrester goes back to actual Forresters? Most importantly, will people come to their senses? Let me know in the comments below what you are most looking forward to or want to see.

Until next time!
