Love her or hate her: Steffy Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is a polarising character, and fans seem to have no middle ground when debating whether she should be loved or hated.

Professionally, as the co-CEO of Forrester Creations and personally, as Ridge and Taylor’s daughter, there has been no shortage of moments where Steffy has had us either cheering her on — or cursing her name.

Let’s join the debate and get into some of Steffy Forrester’s best (and worst) moments on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Forrester Creations becomes Hope-less

Firing Hope (Annika Noelle), canceling her line HFTF, and deleting her from the company website was a pivotal day in B&B history. Already wanting Hope's line cut because it wasn't profitable, Steffy walked into the design office and found Hope, wearing lingerie, on top of Steffy’s husband, Finn. The declared Logans vs. Forrester war heated up because this was the final straw for Steffy, and it was most certainly personal.

Is this a dagger which I see before me?

Who can forget the moment Steffy’s confrontation with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown)went all the way to murder? Or so she thought. A sugar-sweet moment for fans, seeing the villain die became one of shock as Deacon discovered in the nick of time that it was not the body of Sheila being cremated at all. Meanwhile, Steffy and Finn’s marriage hit the rocks when he wondered if he could forgive his wife for killing his mother. Luckily, Hope was there to help him see the light. By that, we mean Hope most definitely encouraged Finn to turn on Steffy.

It was just a kiss

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Finn’s (Tanner Novlan ) friendship developed, or so he thought. Hope didn’t mention to anyone that she was having secret fantasies of having Finn to herself. After some champagne, she got the courage to pull Finn away at Eric’s house and plant a kiss on him. When Finn told Steffy that Hope has kissed him, the fuse is lit, and Steffy exited stage left in a fury, leaving the children with their fathers. Didn't Steffy demand Finn to have no more secrets? Unfortunately, Steffy’s vacay meant no one noticed when Finn’s crazy cousin, Luna, had her locked in a cage.

Gondola With the Wind

There isn’t a debate about Steffy, or even a convo with an anti-Steffier, that doesn’t have someone mentioning the moment that Hope was stuck in a gondola, forced to be an unwilling witness to Liam and Steffy’s mountain peak wedding. The image of Hope banging on the window, begging time to come to a standstill, is a visual that no Hope fan can ever forget.

Killing Cousins

Not a typo. Kissing Cousins is a whole other B&B list, but for now, we’ll focus on when Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) was devastated that Taylor (then-Hunter Tylo) had accidentally killed Aly’s mom, Darla (Schae Harrison). Long story short, Aly went after Steffy, Steffy defended herself, Aly fell and hit her head on a rock, and Steffy’s other cousin, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), recorded the whole thing. In case you’re wondering if she used the tape to spare Steffy a murder trial, the answer is no — she used it to blackmail her cousin instead.

Femme Fatale

Brooke’s not the only one who knows how to wear lingerie and bikinis effectively. Steffy has managed to turn the eye of many men, no matter who they were committed to. The shortened list includes Hope’s first boyfriend, Oliver Jones (Zack Conroy) (but he cheated on Hope with Brooke, so…), Rick Forrester (then-Kyle Lowder), who was her twin Phoebe’s (Mackenzie Mauzy) boyfriend, too, Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) brother Marcus (Texas Battle), and all the Spencer men, sans Will (Crew Morrow) — but yes, she did cheat on Liam with his dad. Blech!
