On The Bold and the Beautiful next week, Hope tracks down Liam, but does he tell her about his fatal diagnosis?
What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
Liam (Scott Clifton) received some terrifying news last week: He has a large mass on his brain and it’s inoperable. Liam’s tumor was only discovered after he had taken a couple of tumbles at his dad’s house. But Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) wasn’t home at the time. Liam and Bill had been arguing about Bill’s involvement with getting Luna (Lisa Yamada) freed and pardoned. During their fight, Liam quit his job at Spencer Publications, and Bill told him he didn’t want to see or hear from him.
That timing worked out well, as since Liam fell, he didn’t want anyone to know about his injuries. However, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is well aware of Liam’s condition as she was the one who found him and got him to the hospital. Once there, Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), and Finn (Tanner Novlan) confirmed that Liam happened to have a tumor, and they couldn’t save him.
Steffy broke the news to Liam that he was dying, and Finn confirmed there was no hope for a cure. At first, Liam was in denial, but next week, he needs to deal with the reality and gravity of his situation.
In an attempt to keep it under wraps, Liam moves in with Steffy and Finn. That way, he’s not in the hospital but can be taken care of. Also, he can spend as much time with Kelly as he can — not to mention, he will have a doctor in the house, which he needs as he continues to have dizzy spells.
However, Hope (Annika Noelle), has had Liam on her mind. After breaking up with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), she has been talking to her dad, Deacon (Sean Kanan) about her life, and they recalled how Liam was a good guy. Carter has been asking Hope to give him another chance, but she seemed to have already moved on to thinking about getting back together with Liam.

But Hope hasn’t seen Liam in a while. On Thursday, she finds out he’s living at Steffy’s and wants to know why. When Hope talks to Liam on Friday, he suggests that she reunite with Carter. But did she tell him that she was open to taking him back? It was what Liam wanted last year, will he tell her why he’s not interested in even thinking about a future with her — or that he doesn’t have much of a future at all?
