On The Bold and the Beautiful episode on Friday, February 14, 2025, Charlie, unlike Hope, knew how to read a room.

The Bold and the Beautiful highlights

Hope started her day by telling Steffy to consider it a Valentine’s Day gift that the company was taken over by her and Carter. Hope said she and Carter were the future of Forrester, and Steffy needed to accept that, especially once the jewelry line launched that day. Hope planned to celebrate in the arms of the man she loved.

Steffy dipped out with Daphne and headed to the Forrester mansion to watch the launch and ensure her family that they’d get through to Carter. Ridge wanted everyone to know that Brooke was to be blamed, too. Finn kept calling and texting Steffy to tell her he loved her while he fretted at work about telling her about Luna.

Ivy and Electra’s jewelry line finally launched, although Ivy was nowhere to be seen and was apparently just checking the group chat’s texts. It was a huge success, with Carter’s laptop dinging every time there was a sale. Hope wanted to crack the champagne, taking credit for things that had nothing to do with her, and dismissing anything Forrester, other than the first global luxury brand to hit the market. Carter was pouty, and Brooke kept looking at him admonishingly to ensure he stayed that way.

Hope, on the other hand, couldn’t figure out why no one was singing her praises and wanted to crack the champagne to celebrate the successful launch — something she claimed they could all take part in owning. Ridge humbly congratulated Electra, and she read the message out loud, making some hang their heads in conflicted feelings. But not Hope. Carter’s personal cheerleader was there to party. When Charlie noted the awkward vibe in the room, Hope kicked everyone out to confront Carter about his attitude.

Unhappy Valentine’s Day

Carter tried to explain to Hope that he was down in the dumps, missing Ridge. She didn’t care, so he pointed out Eric’s stapler and said the company didn’t belong to him. Hope tried telling him he was her hero, but he said there was nothing heroic about tricking his friends out of their company. He suggested they show the Forresters the books and prove their success, then apologize and work with them again. Hope lost it.

Carter tried to backtrack and just celebrate Valentine’s Day, but Hope didn’t want his gift, a heart necklace. Furious that he wanted her to exist amongst the Forresters again, she stormed out in tears. Carter smashed the necklace on the desk and sobbed. Ridge came in and asked him if his crown was too heavy. Poor guy.
