On The Bold and the Beautiful episode on Thursday, February 13, 2025, Carter was confronted with his feelings, Brooke couldn't control her emotions, and Hope was unaware of how her actions have affected things.

Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) is now on a personal mission to rescue Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had an impromptu meeting in the design office with Daphne to discuss their private project; they have now changed course from a seduction game to a plea to the “goodness and integrity” that still resides in Carter. Daphne told Steffy that Carter was successful and handsome and seemed smitten. At close range, Daphne told Carter her nose is also attuned to people and who they are inside.

Brooke can't hold it in any longer

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) eavesdropped on Carter and Daphne, and heard her saying, “Being a part of this is not who you really are, Carter.” Brooke told Carter she agreed with what Daphne told him and that Carter should listen to her. Brooke said she and Carter had something in common, not just mutual love for Hope but for someone else too: Ridge. Brooke broke down in tears as she told him they had both lost Ridge because of the takeover and that they both missed him. Brooke cried, “Deny it all you want, but I know you’re crying inside, too, Carter.” She asked how much longer he was going to let it go on. With a torn expression on his face, Carter looks like it's all sinking in.

Hope is incapable of seeing how she’s done wrong

In front of Brooke, Hope told Steffy that the company's new leadership structure was a massive success and that the new jewelry line that was about to launch would prove it. Hope, for the umpteenth time, said to Steffy that nothing would change how things are now. Brooke, on the other hand, looked concerned. Steffy told Hope either the success or the debt would be massive, but that either was possible. When Steffy asked Hope if she knew what this was doing to her dad and grandfather, Brooke got emotional and excused herself. Steffy, not missing an opportunity, said to Hope, “Well, what do you know? I think Brooke realizes what you and Carter have done is wrong.” Hope is too blind to see it, so she just quipped back her blanket statement on the issue: “The Logans were finally getting the accolades and respect they deserved.” Hope thought the company was going to soar to new heights with the current leadership, and called Brooke and Carter “quite the team.”
