Liam is The Bold and the Beautiful’s Most Eligible Bachelor again

On The Bold and the Beautiful, William “Liam” Spencer III (Scott Clifton) is doing what he doesn’t do very often: be single.

You might not see him that way now, but several marriages ago, Liam was declared “the world’s most eligible bachelor” by his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

Liam has walked down the aisle a total of seven times—three times each to stepsisters Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and once to their cousin Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer). Liam has spent most of his time in Los Angeles bouncing back and forth between Hope and Steffy, although that has been his pattern with all the women in his life.

Liam wasn’t much of a bachelor on The Bold and the Beautiful

Liam was last married to Hope Logan. However, they broke up earlier this year when she decided she was tired of being with someone who wasn’t 100% into her. Liam has always held a candle for Steffy, although she’s never felt like his one and only, either.

Steffy is currently married to Finn (Tanner Novlan), but until last week, Liam kept that candle lit. At one point after his marriage ended, he even made it clear to Steffy’s dad, Ridge, that he intended to win Steffy back. But after Finn heroically saved his wife from death in a cage at the hands of Luna, Liam conceded that maybe Finn was right for Steffy, after all, and he said he would respect their marriage.

Steffy and Hope were Liam’s two main loves, but there was another marriage. Liam was involved with Steffy’s cousin Ivy Forrester for a brief period. When she needed help with an immigration issue, he agreed to marry her so she could stay in the country. However, once the issue was resolved, he wanted the marriage annulled.

Although he has been steadily involved with someone, there isn’t a long list of other involvements. In the midst of his first round with Hope, the couple argued. Liam got drunk, hit his head, and woke up with Amber Moore (Adrienne Franz). Let’s just say Amber wasn’t the love of Liam’s life. They had many breakups and make-ups, but he returned to Hope when Amber gave birth to someone else’s baby.

Liam exchanged a kiss with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when they were trapped in an exploded building, but it was never more than a kiss in a moment of panic. Liam’s other notable relationship was with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Quinn convinced Liam, who had amnesia, that they were a couple, and he fell in love with her—until his amnesia wore off, and he worked at winning back Steffy.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Most Eligible Bachelor once more

With Steffy seemingly happily married to Finn, Liam might be looking for someone else to keep him company. Hope is single, as well, but after she was with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Liam seemed to lose interest.

Interestingly, Hope and Liam did sign their divorce papers, but as far as we know, they never filed them. Could this be an issue in his next relationship?

Ivy Forrester is making her return soon, and she let Liam know a few months ago that she hasn’t forgotten their relationship. She could be the new love interest in Liam’s life, but Hope would most likely want to interfere in some way.
