In Eric’s office, Steffy was grateful for Taylor’s presence. Taylor wanted to spend as much time as she could with her family. Steffy was proud of Taylor’s humanitarian work, but she had missed Taylor terribly. Taylor said she wanted to be with her family, but after being gone so long, she wasn’t sure where she fit into everyone’s lives. Steffy said Taylor fit right in the middle, and it wasn’t the same without her.

Taylor was hoping to stay for a while. She added that she’d told Ridge that Steffy needed someone else in her corner. Taylor wanted Steffy to rely on her mother. The topic turned to Hope setting her sights on Finn. Steffy was confident that Finn was devoted to her, but Taylor worried that Hope was turning into Brooke and could be an ongoing problem. Steffy promised that what Brooke had done to Ridge and Taylor wouldn’t happen. “I can handle Hope,” Steffy concluded.

In the design office, Hope passed along some accessories she felt would do better in Brooke’s Bedroom. Hope told Brooke that even though they’d all gotten along at Steffy’s party, Hope sensed that Steffy would gun for her at work. Brooke advised Hope to focus on her line, and that way, Steffy’s attitude wouldn’t matter. Hope looked uncertain, but Brooke urged her to stop wasting her energy on a silly rivalry—and Finn.

Hope said Finn was an actual hero. Brooke asserted that he was Steffy’s hero, not Hope’s. Hope insisted that she’d made a change and wouldn’t go after Finn. She respected herself and Finn too much to do that. Brooke replied that emotions could take over, and despite one's best intentions, one could wind up following one’s heart.

Later, Brooke was alone at the desk when she saw Taylor in the corridor. Brooke asked to see Taylor for a second. Closing the door, Taylor said she wanted to talk to Brooke, too. Brooke said it was good that Steffy wanted to get back to normal, and they were all relieved that Steffy was okay. Brooke guessed it was even more so for Taylor. In Taylor’s silence, Brooke said she knew she was happy about it, and it was tough to worry about one’s children.

Taylor expressed gratitude for Steffy’s safety, and she said she didn’t feel it was right that Finn and Steffy were constantly tested. Brooke hoped those days were behind the couple. Taylor asked if Brooke meant it. It surprised Taylor that Steffy’s happiness and safety were a priority for the Logans. Brooke replied that the animosity between the families wasn’t good for anyone.

Taylor asserted that none of it would have happened if it hadn’t been for Hope’s inappropriate behavior. Taylor said it wasn’t rational, and Hope knew that Steffy and Finn were committed to their marriage. Taylor said it would only have negative consequences for Hope, and as Hope’s mother, Brooke needed to tell Hope to stay away from Finn.

Back in Eric’s office, Hope arrived to say it was good to have Steffy back at the office. Snapping that Hope was trying to butter her up, Steffy said she needed a better performance from HFTF. Hope said she meant what she’d said at Eric’s and had been looking to talk to Steffy privately. Hope thanked God that Steffy was home safe with her family. Steffy replied that she was okay, and so was her marriage.

Hope noted that she and Steffy didn’t get along, but after what Steffy had been through, Hope had been hoping they could put it behind them. Hope couldn’t imagine how Steffy had felt in the cage, and Steffy said she’d never lost faith that Finn would find her in time. Steffy emphasized that her husband was devoted and unfailing, and Hope should have known he wouldn’t betray her. Steffy said Hope had been wrong to kiss him, and if she cared about Steffy’s family, she should prove it by not being like Brooke. Steffy warned Hope to stay out of her marriage.

In Finn’s office, Liam arrived, feeling he needed to say something to Finn face-to-face. Liam figured Finn had some idea. Finn guessed it had to do with Steffy. Liam had been worried about Steffy, but he was there to thank Finn for saving her life. Liam recognized that he wasn’t married to Steffy; however, he felt he had to step up when Steffy was in trouble. Finn replied that it was his job as her husband. Agreeing, Liam said Finn had come through.

Finn said he wished he’d gotten there sooner. Liam thanked God that Finn had found Steffy before something terrible had happened. Offering his hand, Liam said he owed Finn. Finn frowned. Liam said it wasn’t just him; anyone who cared about Steffy owed Finn. Liam needed Finn to know how grateful he was. Finn’s expression softened.

Liam said he’d been wrong to say it was good for Steffy to take time off, and Liam believed Finn had made the right call in pursuing his unsettled feelings about Steffy’s whereabouts. Finn said he wouldn’t have risked ticking her off if he’d been wrong, but there was no risk he wouldn’t take for her. His love for her and the kids was at the heart of all he did. He aimed to be the loyal and committed man she deserved.

At Bill’s house, Katie and Will arrived as Bill ended a call with Justin. Katie noted that it was business as usual, but Bill said a visit from them topped it all. Will expressed worry about Bill due to the Luna situation. Bill stated that nothing would happen to him because he had a family to take care of.

Later, Bill wished he’d seen the signs sooner, but Katie said even Poppy hadn’t. Will asked if they were sure about Poppy. Will said he knew that Poppy hadn’t killed anyone, but she was still Luna’s mother. Will wasn’t saying Bill should hold it against Poppy, but Will advised his father to be more careful. Bill wondered if Will and Katie had been talking.

Will said it was all him, and he wasn’t sure Poppy was the best person to have around—especially when Bill had Katie. “As we all know, you ruined that,” Will added. Bill took the blame for it and was glad he’d known the best of Katie. Will asked if his parents could experience it again. Katie said she could hear them. Will was glad she could and said it was about time Bill gave her the props she deserved.

Bill figured Will wanted Katie to hear what Katie already knew. Bill loved Katie, and no one would have blamed her for walking away. He thanked her for looking out for him as his guardian angel for the past few months. Bill said Katie was the best at it, especially when he needed a pin in his over-inflated ego. He believed she'd pushed him because she cared so much, and he was grateful that she’d tried to get him to slow down and see the signs.

Katie said no one could have seen it coming. Katie said it was getting a little thick with the compliments for her taste, but Bill said he meant it. Bill believed Katie was something special. Will told Bill not to forget it, and touching her knee, Bill promised not to.
