Hasn't Jackie M. just breathed new life into Stephanie? She laughs, she smiles, she makes jokes. And she still delivers the business goods.
Jack Wagner
January 11, 2010
Nick did the honorable thing by keeping Sandy's confidence, but was that fair to Bridget? The problem with Bridget being excluded is that Sandy and Nick now have a secret.
Kimberly Matula
January 18, 2010
Hope's certainly shaken things up with her internship, without even trying! She's already a pawn in the Forrester/Logan feud, as well as Katie's plan to oust Steffy.
Ronn Moss
January 25, 2010
Didn't Eric want Forrester to be for his children, including Rick, Thorne, Felicia, and Marcus, and not just Ridge? Somewhere along the way, the message has gotten all screwy.
Heather Tom
February 1, 2010
Katie's vendetta is the only one that makes sense. Who can blame her for wanting to rid herself of Steffy? She must sense that Bill is attracted to Steffy, especially after he wouldn't let Katie fire her.
Ashley Jones
February 8, 2010
Bridget has usually been a character who's shown great empathy and compassion. She's usually kind and understanding, but her overreaction last week was questionable.
Jack Wagner
February 15, 2010
Our boy Nick has an unfortunate history of hurting Bridget, even if he genuinely seems to be reforming now. It's understandable that Bridget would lash out after more secrets were kept from her.
Don Diamont
February 22, 2010
Bill will need to do some fancy talking to explain what he's done to the business, and Katie is not going to take it well. Bill barely gave her a chance to do the job, and now the rug has been pulled out from under her.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
March 1, 2010
Steffy is out to purge the company of everything Logan, completely forgetting that twelve months ago she was ready to throw everything away to marry Rick, who is as much half-Logan as Hope is!
Ronn Moss
March 8, 2010
So many children, so many choices, so many hours making love to Brooke...is it any wonder that Ridge's head hurts? The guy is just not cut out for deep thoughts, let alone making important decisions.
Susan Flannery
March 15, 2010
Stephanie's been devious, vindictive, and outrageous, but she's always remained classy. Steffy wouldn't know class if she...well, if she saw it in a video!
Zack Conroy
March 22, 2010
Kissing Steffy by the pool to get her to cough up the incriminating video of Bridget and Owen may have seemed like a clever ruse, but it's really right out of Archie comics, and Oliver was pure Jughead with his antics.
Brandon Beemer
March 29, 2010
Bridget and Owen can't stop talking about their grief sex in places where anyone could just walk in. Every time they're in a room together, the subject comes up. Subtle much, guys?
Hunter Tylo
April 5, 2010
The ick factor was turned up to very, very high with the giddy romance of Whip and Taylor. Didn't she seem just a little over the top? One minute she's still hung up on Ridge, the next she's besotted with Whip.
Jennifer Gareis
April 12, 2010
Donna got caught up in being VP, yes -- at least she owned it! -- but the position would never have been available in the first place if the Forrester men hadn't been such buttheads.
Susan Flannery
April 19, 2010
As heinous as Stephanie has been in the past (remember her part in Brooke's date rape?), this past week was just nasty and selfish.
Robin Riker
April 26, 2010
Let's all take a moment of silence to pay our respects to one of The Bold and the Beautiful's few remaining legacy characters.
Ashley Jones
May 3, 2010
Bridget's infidelity is going to destroy not just her marriage with Nick, but Jackie's with Owen, too. What a disaster! What were they thinking?
Jennifer Gareis
May 10, 2010
Bill keeps trying to impress upon Donna that both Stephanie and Eric are responsible for Beth's death. Well, they are...but Beth's children and husband are, too.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
May 17, 2010
Pranks on the runway only make Forrester look bad, and yet Steffy's blind determination to rid the company of Logans is making her do foolish things. No, not foolish; nasty.
Kimberly Matula
May 24, 2010
Oliver and Hope are actually cute together. It's nice to see our sex-filled soaps depict someone who would rather wait for her first encounter.
Alley Mills
May 31, 2010
Pam has been Stephanie's lackey and most loyal acolyte, and yet she should have some resentment towards her sister. Stephanie's never done a damn thing to help Pam grow as a woman.
Jack Wagner
June 7, 2010
Who knew that Jackie M. had so many contacts that Nick and Aggie had to spend two weeks in New York City dealing with them all? This is what happens when you get those bargain seats on Backburner Airlines.
Katherine Kelly Lang
June 14, 2010
Brooke has done it again. This is going to be a monkey wrench of gorilla proportions. There's no way to recover from being an accidental fornicator with your teenaged daughter's Zac Efron-wannabe boyfriend!
Zack Conroy
June 21, 2010
Will history repeat itself, leaving Brooke pregnant with Oliver's child? Since we've already gone there with Deacon, let's hope not, just for the sheer novelty.
Susan Flannery
June 28, 2010
One of these days, Stephanie is going to have to pay for being such an unapologetic bitch. She acted like she was so worried about Pam, but her cold, brutal unmasking of Stephen was a smack in the face.
Adrienne Frantz
July 5, 2010
Amber is back in town, ready to start over. It will be interesting to see what she gets herself into in L.A., especially if it involves some sort of reunion with Rick, who's certainly not the nice guy she was once married to!
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
July 12, 2010
What we're seeing is Steffy becoming the second Stephanie. It doesn't help matters that Taylor and Ridge don't think that Stephanie is ever wrong. They reward her negative behavior by revering her as a matriarch.
Susan Flannery
July 19, 2010
Can Stephanie be any less likeable these days? If Sally were here, she'd tell Queen Stephanie that she's just plain being Queen Bitch. She was much more interesting over at Jackie M.
Katherine Kelly Lang
July 26, 2010
Considering the bad blood between Steffy and Brooke, Brooke should've taken the high road and told Ridge that she didn't need, nor want, Steffy to give her a flowery salute.
Brandon Beemer
August 2, 2010
Is Owen really running around town with his shirt open? If there's ever a time when soaps can get away with gratuitous skin, it's summer, but let's at least make the scenarios reasonable.
Kimberly Matula
August 9, 2010
The best thing for Hope would be a therapist...just not Taylor. It's important for Hope to try to work out her feelings with her mother. Their relationship has been too important to both of them.
Zack Conroy
August 16, 2010
How skeevy did it seem that Hope was having a conversation with Brooke and Oliver about their mask-boink in the exact place that it happened? Eww and double eww.
Scott Clifton
August 23, 2010
This past week was the turning point for Liam; first, he announced that he's Ridge's son, then Ridge socked him in the mouth (very rational, Ridge!), and, ultimately, he bonded with Hope.
Drew Tyler Bell
August 30, 2010
Has Thomas ever had a storyline to call his own, except for that ill-conceived fling with Amber years ago? Who expected him to find out that Taylor gave Steffy all her stock, and then open up a can of Whoop-Ass on everybody?
Ashley Jones
September 6, 2010
If you go by the notion that all's well that ends well, then the idea of Bridget taking her at-risk pregnancy to Big Bear for a last-trimester visit to a remote cabin in the woods was all hunky-dory.
Winsor Harmon
September 13, 2010
How cool was it to have Thorne back in the spotlight, even briefly? Having his DNA tested gave him more airtime than he's had all year, and throwing him into the mix with Bill and Liam was fun all the way around.
Scott Clifton
September 20, 2010
From the moment that Liam got all starry-eyed at the sight of Hope, you knew that young love was about to blossom. Oliver's pretty much out of the picture (along with his Chinese necklace).
Zack Conroy
September 27, 2010
Oliver seems different somehow, and not just because of his vastly improved hair. Unfortunately, it still isn't enough to go up against Liam, which means that Oliver doesn't really have a place on the canvas anymore.
Susan Flannery
October 4, 2010
The idea that a woman like Stephanie would accept a fatal diagnosis without considering a fight just rings hollow. It's taken Brooke, of all people, to point out to her mother-in-law/nemesis that she's not facing facts.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
October 11, 2010
Steffy has officially bypassed silly and settled into completely pathetic. Even Bill knows that she concocted the Eye on Fashion interview just to put the moves on Liam. Marcus sees it, and so does Hope.
Susan Flannery
October 18, 2010
Stephanie's revelation that she needs to live so that she can do more with her life was inspiring. Kudos to the magnificent Susan Flannery for seizing the moment and taking viewers along for the ride.
Adrienne Frantz
October 25, 2010
The Amber of days gone by would have been burning the midnight oil to make her designs the best, not burning up like Amber 2010.
Hunter Tylo
November 1, 2010
Just because Taylor couldn't stop herself from having an affair with Brooke's son, Rick, she assumes that Brooke will bed her son, Thomas, in the same way. That's madness, of course.
Zack Conroy
November 8, 2010
Kudos for livening Oliver up a little last week, even if he had to get drunk in order to be livened. It was nice of the Forresters to not fire him for inadvertently leaking the designs to Amber, but really, it was his own damn fault.
Katherine Kelly Lang
November 15, 2010
It seems like Brooke is a magnet for trouble. How else can you explain the mess that she found herself in this past week, when she landed on the receiving end of a tonsil-hockey liplock from Thomas?
Hunter Tylo
November 22, 2010
How much clearer can it be that Brooke didn't kiss Thomas on the runway? Thomas kissed her, and he admitted that. Surely, Taylor has watched the video of it on her laptop so many times that who kissed whom should be abundantly clear.
Kimberly Matula
November 29, 2010
If we're to believe the stuff being shoveled on The Bold and the Beautiful of late, Hope's ideals are getting a kick in the pants. Amber's made it her mission to get Oliver in bed with Hope.
Zack Conroy
December 6, 2010
To hear Oliver tell it, he and Hope were up there with Bogey and Bacall, or at least Brangelina. Oliver, you were with Hope for about five minutes, and, accident or not, you boinked her mother!
Hunter Tylo
December 13, 2010
Was it just a case of careless whispers when Taylor murmured Ridge's name while making love to her husband Whip? Um, no. It was the beginning of the end for Taylor's latest attempt to get over her undying love for the Ridgester.
Scott Clifton
December 20, 2010
For all of Bill's attempts to control his son's image and love life, his grand speech indoctrinating Liam as a Spencer was actually quite touching, and amazingly sincere!
Susan Flannery
December 27, 2010
Part one of a two-part look back at the events of the past year in Los Angeles. This week, our columnist Allison discusses the best and the worst that The Bold and the Beautiful had to offer in 2010.
