Eric and Ridge showcased their designs to their exclusive clientele. Carter tallied the orders and determined the competition's winner, but after hearing Eric's prognosis, Ridge decided who'd won the competition. Steffy returned to town and wasted no time in confronting Sheila.

In the Forrester showroom, the Champagne flowed as Katie emceed the showing. Off to the side, Zende, Luna, and R.J. discussed how the clients could purchase gowns that day without knowing they were settling a bet between Ridge and Eric. Luna said a lot was riding on the day, and a sullen R.J. said it was more than anyone knew.
Zende looked on as Paris uploaded content to a special link for donors of the Foundation to have a peek at the gowns. Paris filmed herself with Zende, calling him one of the designers who'd helped make that day possible.
Katie reminded the guests to write down the gown they liked the most, and she moved on to a diamond-encrusted gown with a thigh-high "reveal" and a train. Katie called it look number three, and Esther exclaimed that she'd never seen anything like it in her life. "I'm sure you haven't," the countess quipped.
Backstage, Donna told Eric that Ridge's designs were okay, but Eric's were exquisite. Feeling alive and very good, Eric declared that he was taking back Forrester Creations.
Back up front, Katie presented a sparkling silver and black brocade waterfall gown. Esther called it stunning, and the countess asked if Esther would comment on every gown. Lauren asked if Esther had found her gown. Esther didn't know how she'd choose, but Lauren assured her friend that the gown would speak to her.
Toward the back of the room, R.J. told Luna that they wouldn't have had that last gown if she hadn't gotten the right documents to get the lace through customs. Brooke, who was observing the exchange, told Ridge that their son had more on his mind than fashion. Ridge whispered back that R.J. and Eric were about to learn an important lesson.
Ridge strode off, and Brooke caught a glimpse of Eric struggling with a cough before retreating behind the backstage curtains. Brooke glanced at her sisters and was intrigued to see them huddled together, intently whispering.
Soon, they reached gown number eleven, a ruby red ballgown made with matelasse woven organza. The fabric and pattern were each one of a kind, never before used, straight from the Couture vault that had only been opened for the special collection.
In Eric's office, Paris and Zende filmed the behind-the-scenes bustle of Ridge's camp. Ridge arrived, murmuring that R.J. and Eric were putting up a "hell of a fight."
Across the hall in the design office, Eric arrived to observe a model in the next gown. Luna and R.J. were there with a seamstress who was working on the gown. R.J. exclaimed that he loved it, and he wondered why Eric had never said it would be so much fun. The model left with the seamstress. Glad R.J. was getting it, Eric said the feeling never went away.
Eric hugged Luna and R.J. Eric stated that Ridge's designs were good, but Eric's were holding their own. Eric didn't appreciate Ridge playing mind games by putting them in the design office instead of backstage while Ridge prepared in the CEO's office. Eric was eager to win. He said it was like his life depended on it.
Back in the showroom, another jewel-encrusted gown with a "rebellious" split appeared for review. As the guests studied it, Brooke continued to eye her sisters.
Dramatic theme music played as a model wearing number fourteen, a deep red ball gown, swayed to and fro. Katie described it as drama-invoking. Esther raised a camera to photograph the gown, but Lauren lowered the device.
Meanwhile, Eric grinned in satisfaction as the gown moved, and even Ridge smiled at his father. Katie and Donna exchanged poignant looks, and Brooke approached her sisters, ordering them to say what was going on.
Donna and Katie tried to play it off as being awestruck by the collection, but Brooke said it wasn't what she was talking about. Brooke revealed that she'd been watching them and Eric, and she asked if something was going on with him that she didn't know about. Katie and Donna exchanged looks, and Brooke took the looks to mean something was indeed going on.
Eric nervously watched the women as Brooke disclosed that she'd seen Eric, and he'd seemed off. Katie was sure it was just nerves because it would be Eric's last show. Katie excused herself to return to emceeing, and Donna claimed she had to go, too. As her sisters walked off, Brooke caught a glimpse of Eric coughing again before he ducked behind the curtains.
Look fifteen arrived in the room, featuring hand-sewn emerald gemstones. Esther waved her feather duster at Charlie, and the countess became appalled.
A simmering gown with a white skirt appeared next, and Katie said it was like floating on a cloud and being swept up in a dream. Look number nineteen, Katie called it, saying Forrester had pulled out all the stops for that gown.
Eric grinned from the slit he'd made in the curtains. He gazed at the faces of his loved ones, remembering how worried each of them was about his condition. Even with their concerned voices echoing in his mind, Eric proudly thought of his declaration that he'd beat Ridge and be in charge of the company one last time.
R.J. makes a startling confession to Brooke

In the Forrester showroom, the showdown continued. By the backstage curtain, Eric watched the crowd's reaction to gown number 19. Gown number 20, a shimmering and sheer sheath gown arrived on the floor with a side slit and side bow train. Breathless, Esther said she had never seen anything so lovely. The countess snapped that the dress wasn't "that bad."
Dresses 19 and 20 finalized the show. Katie strode out to conclude the event. She introduced designers Ridge and Eric and reminded buyers to pick their dresses. Eric ducked backstage, and Ridge followed him, noting that it had been a "hell of a show." "May the best man win," each said to the other, shaking on it. Ridge walked away, and Eric stifled a cough.
Back in the showroom later, Zende and Paris congratulated Ridge on the show, and she said he should see the online comments from Foundation members. Esther approached to hand-deliver her choice of gown. The countess shoved Esther out of the way to present her order. Esther noted that it was the same gown she wanted.
The countess haughtily reminded Ridge that she was a longstanding, influential patron of Forrester, and she would not wear a gown owned by "this simpleton." Lauren lurched toward the countess, but Ridge said he had it. He stated that Esther had put in her bid first, so the gown was hers. The countess quipped that Esther carried a feather duster in her purse.
Ridge replied that he was sorry. Upset, the countess declared that Ridge had made a big mistake, and she'd never buy another Forrester gown -- or shop at Fenmore's. After the countess had stomped off, Ridge reminded Esther that she'd have to return to town for a fitting -- and possibly dinner. At that moment, Charlie waved at Esther, who couldn't believe that after all those years, she'd have a gown as beautiful as Mrs. Chancellor's.
Later, Esther returned to the empty showroom, hugged a garment bag, and soaked in the moment. Charlie appeared. He was happy that she'd gotten the dress of her dreams. Esther told him that she'd loved her time there, and she'd enjoyed meeting him. She hoped she got to see him when she returned for her fittings. Charlie joked that he didn't do the fittings.
Charlie said he'd love to see Esther again, and he loved how happy the dress made her. He stated that he'd miss her. She replied that the dress meant more to her than anything in the world, and she'd miss him, too. "Before you go..." Charlie uttered and swept Esther in for a kiss.
Esther dropped the gown as she embraced Charlie. Lauren called Esther, and Esther hurried out the door. Charlie scooped up the gown and told "Cinderella" that she'd forgotten her dress. Esther returned for the garment bag. Deciding that the dress didn't mean more to her than anything, she kissed Charlie on the cheek and left.
In the design office, Luna hugged R.J. She said that, even with the worry weighing on him, he needed to acknowledge his own major accomplishment that day. He thanked her but said it was hard to focus on that when all he was thinking of was his grandfather.
Brooke arrived to congratulate R.J., and Luna left. Referring to Luna, Brooke said she wasn't the only one who was proud of him. Brooke was proud and said his father was, too. R.J. started to explain about Luna, but Brooke didn't feel the need to know the details. It was enough for her that R.J. and Luna seemed to care about each other. Brooke stated that she was there about someone else, R.J.'s grandfather.
R.J. gazed conspicuously at Brooke. She said she'd asked her sisters but hadn't gotten an answer. Brooke asserted that she was his mother, and she could tell that something was going on. She urged him to talk to her. R.J. stammered that he couldn't do it any longer. He couldn't hold on to the secret. R.J. decided that it was time everyone knew.
R.J. said he and Donna had wanted to tell the family. Noting that it seemed to be a huge weight, Brooke asked her son to tell her. R.J. said he hadn't even known what had been going on at first because Eric had been so positive and inspiring, but the reason Eric had called it his grand finale was because, "he's dying, Mom. Granddad's dying."
Back in the showroom, Zende invited Luna to join the team in getting drinks later. Paris, Carter, and Ridge arrived. Zende suggested a toast, and Paris said the comments were pouring in online. Ridge, however, was only interested in one thing. Carter replied that the orders were in, and they'd know who won soon. Eric arrived with Donna and said he was "dying" to know.
Later, Eric entered the dark showroom. He gazed ahead and recalled the turn and sway of each dress that belonged to him in the collection. He stood in the center aisle between the seats. Donna slipped into the room and hugged him from behind. "My last hurrah..." he uttered.
Donna scoffed in disbelief. She told Eric not to look at it like that. She was proud of him and his magnificent designs. Eric insisted that he had to win the showdown and maintain his role in leadership as the founder of Forrester Creations. He said Ridge could not take it away.
In Eric's office, Ridge ended a call, giving a quote to a news source. Ridge stated that it had been a great show, and Carter said that the designs had been inspired. Ridge replied that one designer had been more inspired than the other. Ridge asked if all the designs had sold out.
Carter announced that one collection had sold out, and one hadn't. Ridge said he didn't want to be disrespectful to his father. Ridge acknowledged that Eric had taught him all that he knew; however, one day, he'd had to beat Eric. Ridge told Carter to congratulate Ridge and tell him that he'd won.
Ridge learns that he won the contest... and that Eric is dying

In the showroom, Donna advised Eric to have a seat, but Eric was amped up, sure he'd sold out his collection and possibly had multiple bids on each piece. He claimed that he'd seen it in the buyers' eyes. "I think I beat Ridge!" Eric exclaimed, and he walked out.
Katie and Luna arrived, concluding a tour for some of the buyers. Katie took the buyers to finalize their bids, and Luna and Donna remarked upon what a show it had been. Donna said they still didn't know who'd won, though, Ridge or Eric.
Katie congratulated Luna on her first show. Luna said Katie had worked like a machine. Katie replied that it hadn't been hard with such breathtaking designs. She said Eric and Ridge had shined, and R.J. deserved some of the sparkle, too. Luna replied that she was proud of him.
Katie got the sense that Luna really cared about R.J. "You know, don't you?" Katie asked. Luna admitted that R.J. had told her, and it had been hard on R.J. to keep it from his family. Katie said that R.J. was pretty incredible to support his grandfather that way.
Luna replied that she'd never met anyone like R.J. Katie was sure R.J. would need Luna's support, and Katie couldn't imagine her life without Eric. Katie said they'd all make sure that Eric knew how much they loved him.
Nearby, Eric became worried about what was taking so long. Donna figured Carter was telling his best friend first. Eric began to contemplate the thought of Ridge winning and said Ridge was one of the best designers in the world and had put on a good show. Eric began coughing.
Donna warned Eric about getting himself worked up. Eric told her that it was some of the finest work in his life, his greatest achievement, and his final works. Eric feared that if he didn't win, he'd lose the excitement and thrill of watching buyers bid on those wonderful pieces. "If I don't win this, it's all over!" he said.
Donna begged Eric to stop it, but he said he had accepted that it was probably his last collection. He just needed to know how it had ended up. No longer wanting to wait, Eric took Donna's hand and headed for the main office.
In the design office, Brooke swore she hadn't heard the news correctly. She asked if R.J. had really said Eric was dying. R.J. explained that Eric had been sick, and it had been getting worse. The doctor had given Eric six months to live. It was why Eric had kept saying it was his grand finale and why Eric wanted badly to win that day.
The tearful R.J. was racked with guilt, but Brooke, who'd also begun shedding tears, said R.J. had been taking care of his grandfather. R.J. said he'd fought the urge to tell Ridge, and he worried that Ridge would hate him for his silence. Brooke said Ridge would never hate his son, but R.J. had to tell Ridge, who deserved to know about Eric. Brooke and R.J. hugged.
In the CEO's office, Carter seemed confident that he knew who'd won the challenge. Ridge asked who the winner was, but in Carter's silence, Ridge figured Carter wouldn't tell him. Ridge exclaimed that Eric had done great things in the past, but that was history. Ridge was adamant that if they moved forward with the company, it had to be with him.
When Carter still wouldn't tell Ridge, Ridge threatened to "call Jeresa and take that necklace back." Carter silently handed Ridge some papers. "There is it. I won. I beat my dad," Ridge said. To Ridge, it meant, his vision was right for the company. Carter said it had been a hard-fought battle, and Ridge had won. Ridge said he hadn't wanted it; Eric had pushed it, and Eric had lost. Ridge decided that he'd be the one to tell Eric.
Brooke and R.J. arrived and said they needed to talk to Ridge. Carter left, and Ridge said he needed to talk to Eric about the showdown. Brooke replied that it would wait because there was something more important to discuss. Ridge didn't know what could be more important, and he exclaimed that he'd won. He said he was sorry, R.J.'s time would come, but "right now," it was Ridge. Ridge said he'd be happy if it had been R.J. and asked if R.J. could be happy for Ridge.
Brooke said she and R.J. were happy for him. R.J. added that Ridge's designs were beautiful. Ridge was eager to see Eric's reaction, but R.J. insisted that they needed to talk right then. Brooke asked R.J. to tell Ridge. R.J. said he was sorry, but Eric was dying.
Ridge asked why R.J. was saying those things. R.J. explained that Eric had asked for R.J.'s help because Eric had been struggling with tremors, which supposedly had been arthritis. Ridge waved his hands impatiently, wanting R.J. to explain how it had turned into dying. Emotional, R.J. said the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong and had mentioned strokes -- but then, Eric had started coughing up blood. "And this is the first I'm hearing about this?" Ridge asked.
Brooke explained that Eric hadn't wanted anyone to know, and R.J. added that he hadn't wanted to betray Eric, who especially hadn't wanted Ridge to know. R.J. stated that Eric hadn't wanted pity, and Ridge nodded angrily. R.J. went on and on about Eric wanting to win. "I got it!" Ridge screamed. In a tearful voice, he asked if the man who'd given Ridge everything was dying.
It didn't seem real to Ridge. Brooke said they didn't know what they'd do without Eric, the backbone of the family. R.J. tried to explain that he had wanted to tell Ridge but hadn't wanted to let Eric down. Ridge said he understood, and he asked how long Eric had. R.J. replied that it would be a few months. Ridge hung his head, and Brooke told R.J. that he'd done right by his grandfather. R.J. doubted that he'd done right by his father.
Ridge said it was fine and assumed it was why R.J. had decided to work with Eric. R.J. affirmed it and said Eric had made R.J. realize his passion for it. R.J. wanted to do it for the rest of his life. Ridge listened, wiping away tears. R.J. didn't know how to repay Eric for the gift.
Ridge uttered that he was proud of his son. R.J. said he loved Eric. Ridge stated that they all did, and Brooke told their son that they'd get through it together. R.J. explained that Eric had wanted to solidify his legacy, and it had been why he'd wanted the grand finale.
Eric and Donna arrived, and Eric said he wasn't surprised to find them all in his office. Eric assumed from Ridge's silence that Ridge knew who'd won. The look on each of their faces also told Eric that they all knew. Ridge stated that he knew. Grinning, Eric asked who'd won, him or Ridge.
Ridge lies to Eric, and Steffy returns to Finn

In the showroom, Katie kicked her feet up on a chair, saying that, after a show, she liked to soak up the energy. "And these shoes hurt real bad," she admitted. Luna replied, "But they're so beautiful." Katie wondered why the prettiest shoes had to hurt the most. The only other question on her mind was who'd won the challenge, Ridge or Eric.
Luna didn't know how anyone could choose just one dress. Katie declared that she'd get one of the dresses. She hadn't put her bid in yet, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. Luna asked which dress Katie wanted, but Katie chose to keep that information to herself. She didn't want to pick favorites, either, especially when all the gowns had been so exquisite.
Noting that R.J. had worked very hard, Luna wondered if the gown Katie had chosen was Eric's. Luna acknowledged that the gowns had been Eric's vision, but she could see a bit of R.J.'s influence in them. Katie figured it had been hard on R.J. to carry the weight of Eric's condition, and Katie wished Eric would see that the family wouldn't pity him. Luna said Eric had his grandson. Katie remarked that a bond between a parent and child was profound, and the love Ridge could give Eric could make all the difference. Katie believed that if everyone knew the truth, things would be very different.
Katie didn't want to believe that Eric was dying or to imagine life without his presence. Luna stated that Eric was legendary in the fashion world. Katie said she'd miss Eric and his soothing advice. She thought it was unfair that Ridge was missing valuable time with Eric. Katie believed that R.J. had done a good thing for Eric, who'd been glowing upon seeing his collection. Luna said it was the finest of Eric's career. Katie replied that winning was important for Eric, who was facing the end of his life.
The conversation turned back to the showing. Katie said the world-class designers had been a must-see show. Luna remarked that the intimate group of guests had made it special. Katie figured that the guests would be lifelong customers if they weren't already. Katie wished it hadn't been a competition and said it would strain Ridge and Eric's relationship, no matter who won.
In Eric's office, Eric asserted that he didn't have all the time in the world, and he asked, "Who won this fashion challenge? You or me?" Ridge flashed back to telling Brooke and R.J. that Ridge had won, and R.J. telling Ridge about Eric's condition. "It was close," Ridge uttered. Eric asked if Ridge was saying Eric had lost.
In Eric's silence, Eric said he could take it. He asked if Ridge had beaten Eric or not. "No, I did not. You won because you're the master," Ridge replied. As Donna and Eric hugged, R.J. and Brooke looked on with surprise. "Congratulations," Ridge said and shook Eric's hand.
Eric exclaimed to R.J. that they had done it. The men hugged, and Eric said he couldn't have done it without R.J. R.J. replied that he'd just helped. Brooke stated that Eric's designs had been spectacular, and it was Eric's moment. "I really won," Eric said.
Ridge replied that Eric had won the day. Donna hugged Eric and told him how proud she was of him. Eric told everyone how much the victory meant to him. It proved to him that he could still do what he'd been put upon the earth to do. Ridge replied that Eric still had it and would always have it. "Until the end," Eric replied. Ready to end the tension between him and his son, Eric stated that Ridge's talent never ceased to amaze Eric, and Ridge's designs had been sublime.
Ridge replied that he still had a lot to learn from Eric. Eric explained that he'd had to do it, not to beat Ridge, but to prove that Eric was not an old stapler to be discarded. Ridge stated that no one would forget Eric ever. Eric asked if Ridge understood why Eric had had to do it. "I do," Ridge uttered.
At the cliff house, Finn was working from home when Hayes and Kelly burst into the house. Hugging them, Finn wondered what they were doing there. Kelly exclaimed that she'd gone to sleep in Italy and woken up in Los Angeles. "Surprise," Steffy said, grinning as she entered.
Steffy said she'd been excited to be in Finn's arms, and she hadn't been able to get home fast enough. Finn asked if she was really home. Hugging him, she declared that she was home, and they kissed.
Later, Kelly gave Finn a card that she and Hayes had made on the way home. It said, "We missed you!" It had a surfing drawing on it. Steffy asked if Finn had any patients that day. "Not anymore," he replied. Finn said it was the best surprise ever, and he never wanted to spend another moment away from them.
Finn brought in the luggage with Hayes's help and expressed awe at how big the kids had gotten. Kelly said she'd been the tallest in her class. She rattled off some Italian and said it meant "chocolate ice cream, please!" Everyone remarked that chocolate was their favorite, and Finn said he'd get it for them all. Emotional, Finn declared it the best surprise he'd ever had.
Later, Finn told the kids that Li would be there to pick them up. Steffy sent the kids to their rooms so that she and Finn could talk.
Finn exclaimed that it was the best day of his life, right up there with their wedding, Hayes's birth, and their reunion in Monte Carlo. Finn was thankful that they were back and said the house had been empty without them. He asked what had made her decide to return.
Steffy stated that she couldn't be away from Finn, and the kids had missed him so much that it had broken her heart. She'd also realized that she didn't want to run anymore. Steffy exclaimed that she was a fighter, and she wouldn't let Sheila take her family away from her. Steffy vowed to fight for what was hers.
Finn began to apologize, but Steffy didn't want any more apologies, shame, or guilt. She said none of it mattered. All that mattered was that they were stronger together, and she promised that she and the kids would never leave him again. He replied that she didn't know how much he loved her, but she replied that she did because it was as much as she loved him.
Steffy confronts Sheila and Deacon

At Forrester Creations, Eric smiled proudly but remained grounded as Ridge declared that Eric had won the fashion challenge. "This day has been one of the most amazing days of my life," Eric stated, unaware that he was not actually the winner. Eric called it "an honor" to have gone head to head against a "giant talent" like Ridge.
Eric explained that his reason for wanting to have a fashion challenge had never been about wanting to beat Ridge. Ridge nodded understandingly. "Victory is yours," Ridge said with a slight smile. Eric said that Ridge had no idea what the victory meant to him. "I think I do," Ridge replied.
Later, Ridge headed to the runway room for some quiet solitude. He stared at the Forrester Creations logo on the wall. He was startled when Luna entered. Ridge asked Luna if she could head to storage and look for a box of Eric's belongings that he'd removed from the CEO office. Luna headed off to find it.
Alone in the CEO office with Donna, Eric reminisced about the "hard work and determination" and "joy and heartbreak" that had taken place within the walls of the room. Donna brushed his cheeks with her hands and said that all those many things had happened because of Eric's leadership.
Ridge returned to the office and caught Eric and Donna in an embrace. He lowered his head and apologized for not knocking first. Ridge asked Eric to leave the office for a bit so that he could "spruce the place up a bit." Eric mused about how quickly he was being kicked out of his office.
In the design suite, R.J. told Brooke that he would not forget what Ridge had done for Eric by lying about the results of the fashion challenge. Katie entered the office, looking for Luna, and immediately sensed that something was wrong. R.J. informed his mother that Katie knew about Eric's condition. Katie, in turn, was surprised that R.J. had told Brooke.
Brooke shared that Ridge also knew the truth. Her eyes welled with tears as she told Katie that Ridge had lied and declared that Eric had won the challenge.
In the Forrester storage area, Luna waded through boxes upon boxes of items. She eventually found a box labeled "CEO OFFICE." She went through the items that included awards and Eric's treasured stapler.
Eric and Donna entered the runway room, triumphant. Donna told Eric how proud she was of him. Eric said that he could not wait to take back what was his. His exuberance shattered when he began coughing. Donna noticed that Eric's handkerchief was again spotted with blood.
Luna returned to the CEO office with the box she'd found. Like a child on Christmas morning, Ridge hurriedly opened the box. He pulled out a trophy and became emotional as he recalled when Eric had received it. Luna told Ridge that she'd also found an old stapler in the box. "This is his stapler. This is important," Ridge stammered.
Finn looked over some drawings that the kids had made during their time away from Los Angeles while Steffy took a shower. Freshly cleaned and thrilled with the water pressure in her home, Steffy returned to the living room and told Finn that he was the reason -- the only reason -- she'd returned home. Li had taken the kids for a while, leaving Steffy and Finn with some private time.
Steffy and Finn's passionate kissing abruptly stopped when Steffy shared that she'd heard the news about Sheila and Deacon. Finn asked how Steffy had found out. "I got a message from Liam," she replied. Finn blasted Liam for blabbing. He was shocked when Steffy said, "Sheila doesn't matter. I refuse to let that monster separate me from my family ever again."
Steffy questioned how Deacon could be involved with Sheila. "They claim to be in love," Finn replied incredulously. Steffy didn't believe it and felt that Sheila was targeting Deacon as a way to work her way back into their lives. Steffy started walking toward the door. After she grabbed her purse, she informed Finn that she was going to "pay those little lovebirds a visit."
Sheila returned to Deacon's apartment after finishing up her shift at Il Giardino. She told Deacon that happy hour at his restaurant was anything but happy, and she suggested renaming it "pathetic hour." Deacon explained that as long as the clientele kept buying $20 drinks, he would be happy.
Sheila sat on the couch next to Deacon and waited for a foot rub. Though giving Sheila foot massages turned him on, Deacon confessed that her missing toe still gave him "the willies."
Sheila poured two cups of tea for herself and Deacon, something that Deacon confessed terrified him. Sheila became slightly annoyed as she explained that she was trying to be a normal person and lead a normal life. Deacon told Sheila that he wanted her to be herself -- the woman that he'd fallen in love with. Sheila claimed that she needed to do whatever she could to forget about the fact that she could not be a part of Finn's life.
Deacon worried that Sheila was being glib and that she intended to continue trying to see Finn. Sheila assured him that she was "focused on this life... that we are creating together." The pair headed to the sofa for some passionate kissing. They nearly jumped to their feet when a loud knock sounded on the door, followed by both Finn and Steffy's voices. Before opening the door, Deacon urged Sheila to keep her emotions in check. "I don't think they're coming over to borrow a cup of sugar," he muttered.
When Deacon opened the door, Steffy immediately marched inside. Sheila welcomed Steffy home with a smile. "Save it, Sheila. I'm not interested in playing nice," Steffy snapped. Steffy asked Deacon if he had lost his mind and wondered what Hope thought of his relationship with Sheila. Steffy turned her attention to Sheila. Steffy told Sheila that she no longer feared Sheila. "I'm back, and I am not leaving. L.A. is my town," Steffy said defiantly.
Steffy declared that she would not be running away again and gave Sheila a shove. Deacon stepped between the two women in an attempt to prevent any further escalation. Steffy peered intensely at Sheila. Sheila, however, seemed to almost have a slight smirk on her face.
