As everyone gathers for the ceremony, Stephanie embraces Ridge, thanking him for keeping their secret and saving their family. Ridge admits that he will probably never publicly acknowledge Massimo as his father and hopes that having a relationship will be enough for him. Massimo flares when Stephanie calls him, reminding her that he has a son and grandchildren he can't acknowledge because Eric wants to renew his vows. Stephanie asks Massimo not to interfere. She points out that if Massimo goes to Eric, any connection he has with Ridge and the children will be destroyed. Thorne tells Bridget that Macy is joining him, and that Eric and Stephanie may not be the only couple renewing their vows tonight. Macy tries to tell Lorenzo that she's made a decision, but he doesn't want to hear it. She tells Lorenzo to go back to Italy, because her life is here with Thorne. When Thorne calls to see why Macy hasn't shown up yet, Lorenzo picks up the phone and then hangs up. Thorne shows up at the apartment and hears voices. In tears, Macy thanks Lorenzo for everything he's done, and kisses him goodbye. Thorne is stunned when he sees them kiss. As the ceremony begins, Massimo arrives and announces that he has something to say.

Thorne was devastated when he observed Macy and Lorenzo in their bedroom kissing and appearing to make love. Thorne rushed to his beach house. Darla arrived, assuming that Macy and Thorne had married to congratulate them. Darla saw that Thorne was distraught. She tried to comfort him. They had a few drinks together and became intoxicated.
Massimo arrived at Eric's house with the intention of informing Eric that he's not Ridge's father. Ridge took Massimo aside and pleaded with him to not inform Eric that he's not Ridge's father. Ridge warned Massimo if he did tell Eric that he is his father, he would have to suffer consequences. Ridge promised he would cut his relationship with Massimo permanently. Massimo granted Ridge his wish and did not tell Eric anything. Massimo lied to Eric and told him he was there to tell Eric how lucky he is. Massimo advised Eric to preserve his family at any cost. Stephanie and Eric successfully renewed their wedding vows.
Macy told Lorenzo that she is grateful to him, but that she loves Thorne. Lorenzo warned Macy that Thorne would hurt her again. Lorenzo did not want stand by and watch Thorne hurt Macy. Lorenzo prepared to leave LA to return to Italy.
Back at Thorne's house, Darla assisted a very intoxicated Thorne into bed. She intended to sleep in the other room. Before she went into the other room, Thorne awoke and started to make love to Darla!

Thorne wakes up from a night of drinking to find Darla in his bed. When he admits he doesn't remember their night together, Darla says it was no big deal, just a comfort thing. Darla, obviously hurt, dressed and heads home. When she gets back to her apartment, she finds Clarke knocking on the door. She lets him in and asks him not to tell Sally she was out all night. She admits to Clarke that she slept with Thorne, and he warns her that she will get hurt. After he leaves, she thinks about Thorne and hugs his jacket that she wore home.
At home, Ridge looks at Taylor's picture. Thomas comes in; wondering what Ridge is doing home from work. Ridge tells him they are spending the day together. Ridge admits missing Taylor. Thomas asks him if he misses Brooke too. Thomas thinks Ridge should call Brooke and make up with her. Thomas feels Ridge needs someone to kiss and be around. He assures his dad that he won't do anything stupid again. Ridge explains to Thomas that sometimes adults can't make it work. Thomas blames himself for Brooke and Ridge's breakup. He feels it's not fair for Ridge to be alone.
Over breakfast, Brooke and Bridget discuss Ridge. Brooke wonders if she'll ever be with Ridge. Brooke tells Bridget that Ridge is committed to his children and must choose them over her. Bridget assures Brooke that it's not a competition between Brooke and the children, and she must find a way to reach Thomas. Brooke understands why Thomas doesn't like her; he sees her as a replacement for Taylor.
Thomas calls Brooke and invites her to a family dinner. Brooke is happy to receive the invitation and Ridge gets on the phone to tell her that it was Thomas' idea. After they hang up, Ridge assures Thomas that no matter what, they will always stick together.
At Thorne's house, he is cleaning up the alcohol bottles when Macy knocks on the door. He is upset with her and asks her what happened last night. She tries to explain that she had to spend the night with Lorenzo. Thorne is about to tell her what he did last night, but Macy asks him if he got her message. He doesn't know what she's talking about and she explains that Lorenzo wanted to make love to her, but she wouldn't let him. She drove Lorenzo to the airport. Macy tells Thorne "it's always been you. " Thorne takes Macy
