She's leaving on the midnight plane to Milan

She's leaving on the midnight plane to Milan

Brooke, Hope, and Katie Logan had life-altering realizations this week. Ivy and Aly are Liam's biggest groupies. Deacon and Quinn are seeing each other in a different light. Eric's big brother, John Forrester, pops into town. Get your dishes ready. It's time for another hearty helping of Two Scoops!

Los Angeles proved too much for Brooke Logan. So she's leaving the life that she's come to know and love. She said she's leaving to find what's left of her. The eldest Logan sister claims that even though she loves Bill, she can't seem to get over the fact that she took her sister Katie's husband while Katie was sick. She knew that Katie was ill when Katie was pushing Brooke and Bill together. She claimed that she broke up a family. She can't seem to get over it.

I have to give Brooke a slow clap for this. I'm happy to see her step up to the plate and admit she was dead wrong. However, she is not the only guilty party involved.

Bill should have pulled in the reins on his stallion and devoted his time to research exactly how to help his ailing wife with her postpartum depression. He shouldn't have begun an inappropriate relationship with his sister-in-law -- especially after all the trash he used to say about her. I do believe that Bill did love Katie at one point in time. However, that love was tainted when he got involved with Steffy. Then it was completely contaminated when he had his affair with Brooke.

Katie was the victim in the whole Brooke/Bill affair. However, she's not that innocent when it comes to the current status of her strained relationship with Brooke. Katie inappropriately started a relationship with Ridge while he was engaged to Brooke. Yes, Brooke and Ridge were not married, but they were in a committed relationship. For Katie to engage in any kind of relationship with Ridge was totally inappropriate. For her to even consider marrying Ridge is just as bad as Brooke and Bill.

Let's fast-forward to the present time. Bill and Katie were talking about Bill's relationship with Brooke. She claims that she was still a bit uncomfortable about Bill and Brooke co-parenting her son. I had to rewind my DVR for that one. Katie is by far my favorite Logan girl. But when those words came out of her mouth, my jaw hit the floor. Katie is doing the same thing that Brooke is doing in regard to co-parenting. She and Ridge are supposed to be getting married. When and if that happens, wouldn't she be R.J.'s stepmom/aunt? I digress.

While they were talking about their own affairs, Will (played by Heather Tom's real-life son, Zane) decided he wanted to play with his daddy's coins. Objects like coins are appealing to toddlers. They're small and shiny. So of course, it's going to go in his mouth. Thanks to Katie's nagging, as Bill would call it, both Bill and Katie were trained in infant safety. Thank goodness for Bill's quick thinking; he got the coin out before tragedy struck. Of course, Brooke would walk in on all of this and witness the parents bonding over their child. This event pretty much sealed Brooke's fate. She is definitely going to Milan to do damage control at Forrester International and in her own life.

Brooke decided to break the news to Katie. Brooke told her sister that she wanted Katie and Bill to have a real try at having a family without any interference from her. I wish that Brooke would realize that even if she isn't in the picture, Bill and Katie's romance is over. Too much damage has been done. I don't know, maybe the near loss of their child might make them put their differences aside and want to start over. I did see Katie and Bill giving each other a look I haven't seen in a long time. What's the saying -- absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Katie told Brooke that too much has happened. She said that she's very much in love with Ridge, and what she and Bill had is in the past. What killed me is that Katie never denied being in love with Bill. The girl was even daydreaming about their past when they'd been happy.

Bill reminded me of that old New Kids on the Block song "Please Don't Go Girl" with all the begging that he was doing this week. Brooke made it perfectly clear that she needed time to breathe. She had to clear her head and do some reflecting. She wanted to make sure that the family was put first. In the midst of all this reflection talk, Brooke let it slip that Hope was pregnant. Bill's response was "Are you kidding me?" Spot on, Dollar Bill. Spot on!

Speaking of the new Mrs. Spencer, Hope finally decided to tell her husband that they were expecting a baby. Of course Wyatt was over the moon. Hope, on the other hand, looked like she was having her first round of morning sickness.

Hope was dead wrong to inform Liam before Wyatt about the pregnancy. Why is this girl so selfish? Did you all see how she had the nerve to be upset with Wyatt because he told his mother (as crazy as she is) that they were expecting? Is Hope for real? You told two other people before your own husband? Stop the madness!!

Has the thought ever crossed Hope and Liam's minds that the baby could very well be Liam's? They were engaged for a while. I'm sure they were intimate before her leaving for Paris. Or maybe they pulled the "let's wait until our wedding night" crap again. **Rolls eyes** I'm sorry, Scoopers. I'm just really aggravated with these two. I'm actually aggravated with all of the younger crew, as a matter of fact.

Deacon needs to be really careful as to whom he's sleeping with. Especially if the woman is his daughter's nemesis. Deacon and Quinn both admitted that they were lonely this week. The chemistry between these two is undeniable.

Quinn and Hope had a confrontation of epic proportions this week. I understand that Hope is angry with Quinn for "manipulating" her life. Quinn has done several irrational things in the past few months. For example, sending Ridge to the waters of Dubai, pushing Ivy into the river, and let's not forget trying to kill Liam with a handmade sword. With that being said, I don't think I would really want Quinn to be an active participant in my baby's life.

Hope tried to be as calm and respectful as she could, but Quinn starting pushing her buttons. Hope then retaliated by saying that Wyatt agrees with her decision about Quinn playing the doting grandmother. That made Quinn very angry.

Now, let me play devil's advocate. Quinn has been the sole parent in Wyatt's life. Hope intruded into their lives when Quinn asked her profusely to keep her privileged nose out of Quinn's business. Of course, Hope didn't listen, and we all know how that turned out.

I think Hope has a lot of nerve to tell any mother that she needs to stay out of her son's life. I'll be damned if some chick tries to tell me I can't spend time with my son. Then again, I'm not psychotic. Nevertheless, Hope needs to tread lightly. She's seen firsthand what Quinn is capable of. Especially when she feels like she's been backed into a corner.

Liam is still walking around moping about another failed attempt at a relationship with Hope. Newsflash, Liam. You kind of set this whole thing in motion. If you had gotten over yourself and gotten on the plane to Paris like Hope had asked you to, things would have turned out much differently.

Please tell me why Liam felt the need to tell Ivy that Hope was pregnant? Why does he feel the need to broadcast someone else's news? Does he think that saying it aloud will make the situation go away and things could go back to the way they were four years ago before Steffy and after Oliver?

Ivy looked a little overjoyed when she found out Hope was pregnant. That means her main purpose in life is to make Liam forget all about Hope. Note to Ivy: that will never happen. No matter how many times Liam or Hope gets involved with other people, they always find a way back to each other, leaving their former significant others to fend for themselves.

Does Liam even notice that Ivy is all gaga over him? Yes, they've shared a kiss or two; I just don't think he sees her as anything more than a friend. If he noticed her in a different light, I don't think he'd be constantly talking about Hope, would he?

I wish that Ivy and Aly would stop talking about Hope every five minutes. Especially Aly. I mean, really, Aly? You have a hot boyfriend who seems to be really into you. All you want to do is talk about Hope, Liam, and Wyatt. Why hasn't Ollie told this girl to be quiet and pay more attention to him? I know I wouldn't be having all of that mess if I were Ollie.

Rumors are flying around that Ridge is going take a trip down memory lane and go after his little brother's wife. Way back in the late 80s or early 90s, Ridge was involved with Caroline Spencer, Caroline 2.0's namesake. Ridge and Caroline were engaged, but they broke up. Thorne and Caroline started dating and wound up getting married. One night, I believe Caroline took some cold medicine, and Ridge climbed into bed with her. Thorne got an eyeful and went into a rage. Thorne then shot Ridge in the head, and Queen Stephanie covered for her baby boy. Yes, Scoopers! Thorne shot Ridge. If Ridge keeps up this behavior, I wouldn't put it past Rick to pop a cap in Ridge's behind. He's done it before.

As many of you Scoopers can already see, Ridge and Caroline make a very good design team. I was hoping the powers that be wouldn't turn their great working relationship into an inappropriate relationship. It looks like I'm not going to get my wish, and Maya Avant is getting exactly what she wants. She has already planted seeds of doubt in both Rick and Katie's mind. Now, with Brooke out of the picture, Katie will be distracted by Bill and what could've been. All Maya has to do is to continue to work on Rick.

Rick is already upset about Ridge's secrecy with his designs. I think he'll be furious when he finds out that Caroline hid the truth about Ridge's impairment from him, which is exactly what Maya was hoping for.

I know that Caroline loves Rick. I don't that she would intentionally cross any lines that would hurt him. I don't see how Caroline could look at Ridge romantically. Yes, he's good-looking, but he's also her brother-in-law and her uncle's archenemy. I'm just not really feeling this pairing.

What about Ridge in this whole equation? What happened to his love for Katie? Was it really love? Or was he trying to get back at Brooke for hooking up with Bill? I'm not sure. Ever since his accident, Ridge and Katie have been out of sync. I see him working with Caroline to help him further his career. Would Ridge use Caroline and mess with her head romantically just to get one up on his little brother? He's always been power hungry. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

This week, Eric got a surprise visit from his older brother and Ivy's dad, John (played by Frank Willard). John seems like a free spirit. (For all of you long-time viewers, John confirmed that we was married to Maggie [Barbara Crampton], Jessica Forrester's [Maitland Ward] mother, which means that Jessica and Ivy are indeed half-sisters.) He claimed to be passing through town and decided to pop in and surprise his family.

John said that Ivy has informed him of her new friend. John, being the protective father that he is, wanted to check Liam out for himself. Basically, he wanted to know what Liam's intentions were with his daughter. Poor Liam, totally clueless, has no idea if and when exactly he and Ivy started dating exclusively.

Anyway, Pam decided to whip up a quick family dinner. Charlie, Pam's beau, didn't seem that keen for John. I don't think he liked the fact that John was flirting with his woman.

Should Hope apologize for the way she spoke to Quinn? Should Quinn respect Hope's wishes? Is Liam really interested in Ivy? Will Bill and Katie make another go at it, with Brooke's blessing? • I'm team Quinn on this. Hope is refusing to take any responsibility and is lying to Wyatt and leading him on. He thinks she loves him, based on her actions. Yet the things she says and does are horribly nasty. She is dishonest and using him. She has no care at all for anyone's feelings but her and Liam. I would like to see Hope and Liam's lives destroyed. -- Lynn11

• I find Quinn entertainingly delusional. Quinn is mostly comical to me. I also enjoy her witty comebacks and dialogue. -- Naturenut

• I know couples go up and down, and need to have soapy strife, but PLEASE leave Katie and Ridge alone. Please don't let her be attracted to Bill anymore. Just because Brooke is feeling guilty and has her favorite enabler Eric there telling her how wonderful she is, doesn't mean, Katie needs to be influenced. I love Katie and Ridge together. They actually have a wonderfully romantic ADULT relationship. -- kangabou

• I wish Ivy and Liam would stop talking about Hope every time they are together. I want to see them have more fun together and see this couple develop in to a great love story with Liam realizing how terrible his relationship with Hope really was and for him to say "Hope Who?" The writers need to move on and start writing something other than everyone talking about Hope. I really like Liam and Ivy and it's frustrating. -- tvd

• Liam thought he was going to be with Hope just a few days ago and for him to try to act like he is ready for a new relationship wouldn't work, IMO. Friendship is a great way for them to start out. If Ivy really cares about a long-term relationship with Liam, she should take things nice and slow. -- Reidistheman

Thanks for flooding the message boards with your comments, Scoopers! It's really cool to see everyone's opinions on the various storylines. Keep them coming. I love reading them.

**Just a thought**

Here are a couple of storyline ideas that I wanted to share with you. Tell me what you think.

Brooke decides to go to Italy to get her mind right. Ridge finds out and decides to follow her there, and they return married. A little far-fetched, maybe? I'm not sure.

I see Hope aggravating Quinn to the point where Quinn pushes Hope or inadvertently harms her in some way, which will result in her losing her baby. Wyatt and Hope will break up. Hope will now chase Liam, who seems to have found some sort of happiness with Ivy. Wyatt will then scheme with his mom to win Hope back.

Bill and Katie bond over their child. They both realize that even though they've moved on with others, they are still in love with each other and decide to give it another shot. (I'm not too sure about this. Bill treated Katie like complete garbage. She would really be a fool if she decided to take him back)

Can Eric and Donna reunite already? I'm tired of seeing them lonely.

What is Marcus still doing in South Africa?

I would really like to see Carter's handsome face. Can we please get this man a love interest?

Mike will be back next week to cover the latest trials and tribulations of the Forrester, Spencer, and Logan families. Until next time, Keep Watching, Keep Reading, but most of all Keep Calm and stay Bold and Beautiful.
