On The Bold and the Beautiful episode on Friday, February 28, 2025, Hope praises Daphne and Carter to Zende then watches her man kiss another woman, Finn visits the Spencer mansion.

In the design office, Hope and Zende talked about what a pair Daphne and Carter make. After the success of both the jewelry line and then the fragrance line, Hope noted it was their turn next. Zende corrected Hope and said it’s the line's turn, Hope for the Future. It was hard to ignore the number of hints that Zende dropped about Daphne being into Carter, but Hope was oblivious as she seemed into her, too. Zende decided to go another route and told Hope that Carter wasn't as happy as he should be. Zende added that the only one excited was Hope. Hope said to Zende that Daphne was an amazing addition to the company and that she would change the course for her and for Carter.

It was only a kiss

In the CEO’s office, Daphne worked her charms, and she had Carter exactly where she wanted him. Daphne knew he was troubled by the takeover and was racked with guilt. Daphne poured on compliment after compliment and led Carter to a mirror. There, she asked him what he saw, and to be honest with himself. Daphne said to Carter that the mark of an extraordinary leader and man was knowing when to say when. She suggested that if he could get Ridge and Steffy to agree to keep HFTF, then he could return the company to them.

Carter told Daphne that she wasn't alone in wanting him to return to the company, and Daphne noted that it wasn't Hope who shared that notion. Daphne told Carter this was about him and who he was: a good and decent man. Daphne had the desired effect on Carter, and she began to run her hand over his chest. They looked at each other longingly. It was at that exact moment that Hope arrived and stood on her mother's favorite eavesdropping spot. She watched Carter and Daphne caress and start to kiss.

Finn can't spit the words out

At the Spencer mansion, Luna told Finn that Bill had gotten her out of prison and they had connected over shared memories of bad childhoods. Luna begged Finn to forgive her for what she did to his wife and claimed that she truly felt remorse. Luna was under the assumption that Finn was there to scold her. Luna cried and told Finn that she had an unstable mom and that all she did was hope and pray that someone would take her away from her horrible home life growing up. Finn sobbed that he “didn’t know” and held her.
