House arrest guest Luna is still commiserating with Bill about how her life has taken a turn. She told Bill that she dreams at night about a different life. In her dream, everyone forgives her, and she has a relationship with her “cousin” Finn. Luna must be reminded that she is lucky to be on house arrest. Although the AC is out, Luna can't go swimming in the pool as her ankle bracelet is water resistant, not waterproof. Luna, needing some reassurance, asks if Bill is proud of her, and Bill, selecting his words carefully, says he is proud of the work she has been doing on herself.

Surprise, surprise, Poppy wants the secret kept

At the hospital, Finn finished a call so he could go home to his wife, but was interrupted by Poppy. Poppy tried to deter him from leaving and said the only reason Finn worked such long hours lately was to protect his marriage from the secret he was carrying. Finn blasted her again for lying about Luna and robbing Finn of the chance to be a good father and what that might have meant for Luna. Finn blamed Poppy for the fact that, once again, he’s bringing pain into Steffy's life, first with Sheila and now with Luna. Finn said there was a chance that Steffy could bolt for the door, and while he couldn't blame her for that, there was no point in what-iffing all day. Finn was adamant that Steffy deserved the truth. Poppy tried to stop Finn from walking out the door, but he just brushed past and left.

Liam says his life stinks

At Steffy and Finn’s house, Liam and Steffy discuss the co-parenting calendar. The conversation turned to how close they had come to losing Steffy to Luna and how Finn had saved her, first from Sheila and then Luna. Liam talked about his dad's absence from work and how Liam was spending more time at the office because of it. Steffy, concerned, asked if Liam had found time for himself, too, and Liam responded that he was reading and working out and contemplating getting a parrot to keep him company. Liam said he was kidding, but Steffy was more than a little concerned. Liam said his life wasn't going how he thought it would, and it was his fault. “My life kind of stinks,’’ said Liam. Liam noted it was his birthday the day before, and the only person who remembered it was Wyatt. Finn messaged Steffy and said he was on his way home, so Liam offered to leave to give them some time alone. Steffy got a cookie with a candle and lit it for Liam. Liam told Steffy he wanted nothing but the best for Steffy and Finn. Liam took his cookie and left. Not long after, Finn arrived and hugged Steffy while wondering to himself how he was going to tell her that Luna was his daughter.
