On The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke asked Ridge to come back to work, back to their home, and back to her. Brooke offered to give up the CEO job. Ridge snapped for Brooke to control her daughter. He reminded Brooke how Hope strung along Thomas, and now, Eric was sitting at home with nothing to do but groom his impeccable platinum locks. Brooke argued back about how Steffy fired Hope. Ridge said Hope wanted something and used his best friend to get it, which was unforgivable in Ridge’s opinion. He told Brooke that all of this was Hope’s fault, and everyone got that, including Carter. He told Brooke that Hope needed to understand that it was wrong to steal from people. Brooke glossed over that, defended Hope, and tried to woo Ridge back, but he walked out.

Taylor sees Brooke differently now

Back at the Forrester mansion, Steffy and Taylor received a call from Daphne and Zende, who reported that they saw Ridge at Forrester Creations and that he went into the design office with Brooke. Steffy told Taylor that she knew she must be upset. Taylor said she knew that Brooke would corner Ridge at the first opportunity to do so and that she would not at all be surprised if Brooke was pleading with Ridge to come back to her. Taylor was confident in her relationship with Ridge, and that she sees Brooke differently now, admitting that Brooke has some good qualities and a lot of faults. She used to wonder if Ridge could see them, but now she knew he saw Brooke for who she was.

Hope worries Carter will see the light

In the CEO’s office, Hope tries to sway Carter away from his feelings by telling him that Ridge hadn't come over to patch things up and nothing had changed, but Carter was hopeful that it could. Carter wanted to mend fences with his best friend and felt they had proven their point. Hope told Carter to remember that Ridge and Steffy weren't proud of him and that Ridge could only come back as an employee who was subservient to her. Carter regaled a tale of when he was in law school, and he had a mentor who told him that winning wasn't what mattered, it was how you got there. Carter hoped to make everything right again, but Hope was shrill and didn’t want him to give away their power. “Forrester Creations is ours now,” Hope said.
