Annika Noelle is grateful for her Bold and Beautiful Emmy nomination after one of the most difficult times in her life.
On Friday, The Bold and the Beautiful's Annika Noelle learned she had been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress category. This was her second Emmy nod but first for Lead Actress, and she is among some longtime soap vets, including her on-screen mom, Katherine Kelly Lang. Her previous nomination was in 2020 in the Supporting category.
While Noelle is honored to be in such great Emmy company, she also found special meaning in her nomination. It came after a year in which she broke up with her longtime partner and found love again. In June of last year, after posting a heartbreaking message on Instagram that she has since taken down, Noelle confirmed to Michael Fairman TV that her relationship had ended.

"Happy Father's Day. While we never got our chance to hold our rainbow, for a brief moment in time we held each other," she wrote. "And even though we could no longer bear the weight of the losses, you have left a lasting imprint on my heart. Thank you."

In 2021, Noelle had opened up about two heartbreaking miscarriages she had in an essay she penned for Glamour magazine.
Her Emmy nomination comes in a year in which her character, Hope Logan, has had to deal with her own breakup with husband Liam Spencer. However, Noelle said that it also taught her that the darkest hour can be just before the dawn. Since breaking up with her partner, the actress has found new love in her life with actor John Patrick Amedori. In her note about her Emmy nom, she put everything in perspective. She started her message by congratulating her fellow nominees.
"I am so deeply honored to be a part of this category with legends @katherinekellylang @tamarabraun @therealstafford @finolafilona & @watros.watros ~ your talent is truly humbling and I am inspired by you ladies daily," Noelle wrote. "A big congratulations to all the other nominees and my @boldandbeautifulcbs family. What we accomplish in daytime on the daily is a feat, and here we all are doing it in one take. I am truly grateful to be a part of this community. Thank you @daytimeemmys & @televisionacad."
Then, Noelle wrote about her last year and what she experienced.
"On a more personal note, around this time last year, I thought my world was ending," the actress admitted. "I wasn't sure I could survive the loss of the future I had envisioned. Turns out, it was just the beginning, and the most beautiful blessing in disguise. It enriched my art, forced me to evolve, and I have found love I never thought possible on the other side. So please know, when you have to face life's dark moments, that there will be a sunrise in time... just hold on for that brighter day."
